Beautiful apartment, fantastic neighbourhood and attentive host. Would definitely recommend, without hesitation.
I am (almost) out of words for how awesome Maya and her places are. This was my third time staying at one of her listings and again ... couldn't be happier. Best location, cleanest & coolest place (with a great rootfop!). Maya is super nice and always responsive and helpful. I wish her place were always available ... it's hard to come back to NYC and stay elsewhere!
We had a great time at Maya's place. We really enjoyed the apartment as well as Greenpoint as such and were happy to explore New York with Maya's indirect and verry kind support.
Great apartment, in an amazing location. First time visitors to Brooklyn, we found Greenpoint to be the perfect location for us to wander around, and the ferry to Manhatten is very close. Felt like a home from home.
The photos of this great duplex don't really prepare you for the wow factor when you first enter. This apartment looks like a film set put together with a particularly imaginative and artistic eye.
Comfortable, amazingly spacious, and wonderfully stocked with both essentials and thoughful extras, the apartment is exactly the kind of place you'd dream about living if you moved to hip Greenpoint. And with Maya as host, you get to do just that.
The location couldn't be better; with the Greenpoint stop just a short walk away, Manhattan and Brooklyn easily reached. And there are plenty of shops, coffee bars and restaurants around the corner in this very interesting neighborhood.
Maya was great to work with before and during my stay, and even allowed me a later check-out time to accommodate my bus departure.
This is definitely a one-of-a-kind place, and the perfect spot to feel like part of the Brooklyn scene. I'll definitely be back.
This was my second time staying at one of Maya's properties, and I couldn't have been more happy! She is so accommodating with check-in/check-out and very easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The place was amazing and beautiful and in my favorite area of my favorite Brooklyn neighborhood. Easy walks to both the G and the L trains. Love the design and details of the apt. Couldn't have asked for more! Absolutely recommend.
Maya was so helpful and the stay was wonderful- such a gorgeous space :)
We stayed at Maya's Beautiful Landmarked Duplex over christmas for our NYC adventure and a catch up with siblings from Australia. It was a perfect spot for us, close to transit, places to eat and shop. The duplex has charm and Maya's style shines through as it is beautifully furnished. It was well heated which was a must for us in December! Maya was very easy to communicate with and flexible for check in and out which was greatly appreciated. Only one note - the pipes are a little noisy especially at night - which was not really a problem for us just unexpected noises began at night which initially caught us off guard.
Thanks for a great spot to stay Maya!
We loved staying in Maya's apartment it's old, with plenty of charm in an interesting neighbourhood. We struggled a bit with- the steps, shower and the leaks from the roof but these issues were minor. Highly recommended for a Brookyn adventure. Well located.
Nothing short of perfect! The duplex is amazing and comfortable with everything anyone could possibly need. Not only is the apartment stylish; it is fun. Maya has an eclectic sense of design and it shows throughout the duplex. We marveled at the artwork, collectibles and antiques. The location in Historic Greenpoint is convenient to many restaurants and shops and we had no problem finding our way around with Maya's map of the area. Not only did Maya facilitate clear communication between us, she made it easy for us to check in and check out with a flexible policy. We can't wait to return to Brooklyn.
