This was the house of my grand father and it's fully renovated by our hands. We have a special bound with it so please respect the stuff inside and if you book for many days in a row please give water to the plants on the terrace, they will appreciate your kindness.
Stefano and his Mother Elisabeth and father Salvatore are some great hosts! Salvatore picked ous up at Formia Train station. The apartment is great with washmashin and ac. The bus stop is 50 m from the apartment and the busses goes often. The view id great from the balcony. But tho road out side the building is a bit loud. The apartment are 3 km walk from the beach. There are a lot of mercatos nearby and a lot of ministors with old ladys selling fruit and vegetables, superfresh! The hosts help ous with every question we have. Great apartment to stay in, in Gaeta.
Gaeta is amazing, Stefano's parents are really nice, unfortunately we only had the chance to meet Stefano's father, but he happily helped us with everything. The flat's terrace is amazing, the view is picturesque and the flat has everything you need at the sea. The beach is fabulous, you need to walk a bit (30mins) but that's really nice, walking in the small city next to the sea.
We went there from Rome and the connection was great, and we had a wonderful time in Gaeta, we are still in love with Italy and the sea, the flat helped us a lot :) There is no Wifi, so we recommend spending all your day at the seaside :)
Loved the apartment! It is just right for a single person or a couple - more than enough space! The balcony was so nice; great for coffee in the mornings and a glass of wine in the evening.
The location was maybe 20 minutes by foot from the centre/beach, but they loaned me a bike, so I was able to spend even more time exploring.
I did not meet Stefano, but his parents helped me to get settled and were perfect hosts!
Our stay at Stefano's "La Pennata" was wonderful.
The description on the site is very accurate and the place looks just as beautiful and tidy as the pictures show. Stefano was very kind to us right from the very first contact. He's provided useful info about the town, places to eat, how to get around. He's even given us advice on train schedules for our trip back to Rome Fiumicino.
Regarding the attic, it is perfect for a couple. The terrace is dreamy. Everything is clean and it has a very well equipped kitchen. Not that we've used too much :), but it was quite useful when we decided to cook ravioli (fresh, bought from a place in via Indipendenza).
There is one thing that those who have sleeping-issued should consider: the building is located on an intense-traffic street and one can here the noise from the passing cars. I had no problem with this, my husband either.
The flat was a great base to visit the surrounding beaches and close to the evening fish market. A little noisy due to the road outside but this quietened down at night and the terrace was great for dinner
The house is nice, cozy and well kept. It's rather small but very bright and convenient. The view from terrace is amazing. We liked it very much. Stephano's parents were wery helpful and friendly.
The only imperfection is a location. Quite heavy traffic makes a lot of noise even at night. The downtown and beaches are far from the house.
Ottimo soggiorno, grazie a tutti!

About the Host, Stefano
