Please note over bank holidays and the Brighton Fringe Festival there is a £10 supplement charge per night. Thanks
Location, location, location...with the sea a 10 min stroll away, the station 6 minutes and town 8 this is the best spot in town - WITH OFF STREET PARKING (you won't need any cabs and i'll leave maps and a guidebook to explore the city with by foot) The train station is just down the road (literally) and buses run from outside the front door to all parts of town and Hove.
The flat is very airy and bright catching the all day sun from East to West. The Cosy front room with fire and independent art is free for you to use when I'm not working in it, seperate kitchen to use, seperate WC and seperate bathroom (massive bath and I provide towels) and large bright double room which catches the morning light. There is a washer dryer if you need it and seagulls just outside to remind you where you are.
Seven Dials is the "village" of Brighton with enough within spitting distance if you just want to pop out for a late night drink with live music or for Japanese, Thai, award winning roasts, sausage and mash or just a stroll to the local Deli, but close enough to "the main strip" if you want to vist the famous North and South Laines (10 min walk) etc.
Its home to me and I hope its a wonderful break full of culture and fun for you! You won't want to stay in for breakfast with whats on the door step here (fry up for £3 practically next door.....) but i'll leave a DIY (Do It Youself) breakfast of tea, coffee, cereal, milk, toast, crumpets and my famous home made English marmelade etc. just in case you can't make it that far. Enjoy!
Kitchen, bathroom and WC, lounge when I'm not there (I work from Home) and there is a TV in the bedroom.
Interaction with Guests
Where possible I'll always try to check guests in myself and check them in but to accom date arrival times sometimes I'll leave the keys for collection and send instruction...I'll always be in touch before arrival to determine how I'll check them in.
Once checked in I tend to let guests makes themselves at home and enjoy their holiday, I'm always on hand in person or on the phone if I'm needed and can often help with restaurant recommendations and bookings etc. Generally I tend to be out much of the time.
Walking distance to everything, friendly and typically very Brighton with every type of person and shop you could honk of on your doorstep!
Train station is 6 minute walk and buses leave outside the front door to all parts of brighton and Sussex.
I just ask that shoes come off at the front door, the room is left as you find it, wash up after you use anything in the kitchen, hang your towels up when they're wet on the radiators (not the doors), there is no curfew come and go as you please I just ask that you're quiet coming in late or going out early as I will be too. :)
Very central location. Short walk to the seafront and Brighton centre. Perfect location for Brighton marathon situated 10-15minute walk to Preston park and the Brighton pier.
The small borough of seven dials offers many amenities and had I spent more time in Brighton I would have made the most of this. As this was a short overnight stay, we didn't venture very far.
The host was amazing and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and very bright.
Sarah was the perfect host for our short stay in Brighton. The flat was perfectly located for getting into town, was nice and comfortable and even had the bonus of the parking space which helped massively! Sarah was incredibly welcoming and relaxed, showing us the best places to go and providing us with various options for breakfast too. Will definitely be staying again! Thank you!
We had a lovely weekend at Sarah's place. The room was brilliant, very clean & comfortable. Such good location for walking into the city centre too. Being so close to Seven Dials was an advantage- great to be near Small Batch coffee shop! Sarah was really helpful in her directions & flexible for our arrival time which was perfect for us. Such a bonus to have free parking in the city too. A wonderful host and a lovely place. Would definitely recommend!
Lovely room, very friendly and comfortable. Having a parking space so close to the centre was fantastic.
My experience could not have been easier, friendlier or smoother. We arrived, found the place easily (directions written by Sarah are very thorough and helpful), parked directly outside the door and rang the doorbell. Sarah buzzed us up and we were greeted with towels and chockies on the bed. Sarah's home is so lovely, it's cosy, safe and very warm. You know when you just get great vibes?! The house is decorated with lots of photos to look at from Sarah's travels and great quotes to read too! The shower was very warm & the bed was amazingly comfortable. The locations is absolutely ideal for staying in Brighton. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience- I just wish I had stayed longer! Thank you for having us Sarah :) x
Lovely, homely place, cleanly kept, very comfortable bed. I felt very welcome even though Sarah wasn't there and had sent very clear and accurate instructions on how to get in etc. Simple breakfast a bonus and easy access from motorway and free parking fantastic.
I work for a charity and i'm away a lot at weekends, I love travelling and have been around the world collecting art and memories which are scattered around the apartment. I moved back to Brighton after leaving London and strongly believe it's the best place in the country :) Happy to help Advise on restaurants or activities around the city. Very easy going and always interested to Meet new people...welcome to my home!
