This was a perfect rental! The location was ideal - on the most beautiful residential street, quiet and safe, but extremely central. The apartment is large, sunny, and well-stocked for a long stay. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean and easy. Fast wifi! Really wonderful apartment for the price - we will be back!
This spacious apartment and its decoration are delightful and the location perfect. Via Giulia is a long, charming street full of wonderful, historic but well-preserved palaces and apartment buildings. It's in easy walking distance of many of the important tourist sites and feels truly Roman. It can be a bit noisy at night as there is no double glazing. The wi-fi is fast.
The hosts were always available, attentive and efficient.
My only criticism is that, unusually, there was no guide to the area provided - for example, the location of nearby supermarkets, restaurants, services, transport, etc. On asking for a good local mid-range restaurant when we arrived I was told - "Oh I don't know really - I think they're all ok in that area for decent Roman food". This was friendly but (website hidden). Note that Italian TV dubs absolutely everything (uggh - dubbing is a crime, whatever the language!) and there were no undubbed international channels. So if you hate dubbing and/or are not fluent in Italian and want to watch TV, take some DVDs or other video source.
We had a wonderful time in Rome during easter in Emiliano and Maria apartment; The property is very confortable with two very large bedrooms. It was very clean and charming. Located in a very nice streat near campo del fiori.
Emiliano or Maria always answer very quickly to all our requests and arrange our transfers from airport.
Only one thing : kitchen is very small and not really convenient, there is no dish washer nor washing machine wich is a pitty for such large beautiful apartment.
A great experience in a flat with so much history !!
Emiliano and the owner provided great service and were very sensitive to our needs. Communicated very promptly prior to the trip and during the trip, arranged for pick up and drop off to FCO, even arranged for new pillows for our allergy galore kids. The 3rd floor apartment, in a 16th century building, is spacious, well maintained and clean, for a family of 4 with 2 kids. Location is central as well. Walk to Piazza Novana, National Museum - not as touristy as the locations near trevi or spanish steps but not far out as well. Very Good cafes close by (not touristy again) but catering to local. We made breakfast and the utensils were clean and plenty. Washing machine is in the bottom floor (just one).
Emiliano was very accommodating and easy to work with. What a beautiful home!!
