The villa sits at the gateway to the picturesque hills on the outskirts of the popular village of Sao Bras de Alportel, an easy 25 minute drive from Faro airport. The location provides spectacular views of the hills towards Ohlao and Faro whist offering privacy and is not overlooked.

The space
There are four bedrooms and a childrens room with two bunk beds. The four main bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and there is a family bathroom opposite the childrens room.

A well proportioned and well equipped kitchen provides everything you could need to enjoy cooking and eating on the terrace. There is a comfortable living room with a large wood burner for cozy evenings in the cooler months.

All rooms are air conditioned. There are 4 showers and two baths.

There are televisions in the sitting room and kitchen with Apple TV providing access to Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Sky etc (own accounts required).

The WI-FI is reliably 50mbps.

There is a Big Green Egg ceramic bbq large enough to cook for the hungriest family. The south facing terrace is perfect for sunbathing without been overlooked and a tree shaded seating area provides a fantastic spot for an aperitif before dinner.

The pool has roman steps giving easy and safe access and is heated in cooler months. The pool is gated at the top of the terrace to keep little ones safe.

There is a separate laundry room with washing machine, dryer, sink and outside clothes drying line.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the property (except the garage) and electric gates on the drive ensure no disturbances.

Other things to note
There are uneven surfaces, slopes and stairs down to the pool. The interior of the villa is all on one level.

Where you’ll be

Sao Bras de Alportel, Portugal

Sao Bras has a really good selection of local supermarkets within a 2 minute drive. There are several good local restaurants and the coast with beautiful beaches and fine dining restaurants are a 25 minute drive. For history and architecture (and lunch) Old Town Faro is worth a visit (fun cocktail bar too). Lisbon is 2 1/2 hours by car, choose the slightly slower but amazing scenery through the hills or fly up the empty motorway.
