  • I truly enjoyed my stay! The apartment is absolutely adorable and is perfectly set up to make any guest feel at home. It is well-stocked with pretty much anything a traveler needs. My favorite room was the kitchen; it has a cute paint job, beautiful old-fashioned stove, and sweet little curtains. It is like being back in time with a modern twist! A short walk down the street to the right of the apartment provides an absolutely gorgeous view of the San Francisco skyline. There is always ample parking, and the neighborhood is completely quiet and safe. Best of all was Athena- she is such a treasure! She went out of her way to make me feel welcome and appreciated. One example comes to mind- my first night there she invited me to her daughter's party that was happening upstairs. When I arrived a little later than expected, she brought wine and snacks over! So thoughtful and sweet.

I would love to stay there again! I miss it a bit already.

    Response from Athena:

Thanks Rani, Miss you too! The new guests really appreciate all the goodies you left for them in the cupboards, and the cleaners especially appreciated how tidy you left it and the nice tip! Thanks for being such an amazing guest and a new friend. Athena

  • The stay I had here was amazing! The view is awesome from this home and is away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not too far. I fell in love with the canyon market which is just a couple of blocks away from the home. They sell amazing food and not too far away is the Bart. A car made is very convenient because there are steep hills here. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

  • Wonderful 3 bedroom dog-friendly and kid-friendly home! We greatly enjoyed our stay. Athena and her mother were incredibly accommodating. The house is located on a quiet street near a couple parks where you can walk your dog. There's lots of parking and we'd recommend staying here if you have a car because there are not many walkable locations. The views are incredible. The living room and kitchen are spacious and have an open layout. Furniture is tasteful and the kitchen well equipped. One of the bedrooms has a stunning view. Overall and wonderful stay! Thank you Tergis family!

  • This is a fabulous house with a great view of the city. It is great if you travel with children (and even better if you travel without them!)..It feels like a home: beautiful, rough, dependable.
A few blocks down street, there is a small neighborhood downtown that has all the essentials for a happy life: great market, three or four coffee shops, couple of good to excellent restaurants, a used books book-store and even a place where to buy home made fresh pasta. To top it all, Athena is a great host. Cannot praise this property and host enough!

I am a San Francisco girl now living in Tuscany with my husband and two daughters. I am a professional Irish fiddler and my husband is a wine maker. I grew up in this house in San Francisco with my 3 brothers as did my father before me. My grandmother designed the house and had it built in the '30's, so I'm very attached to the property and have decided to rent it to short term guests and vacationers only so it can be available for my own family when I visit my family in San Francisco. I am a true California girl, I love the outdoors, walking, sports, and healthy living, but I also love curling up in front of the fire or the flatscreen with a glass of great wine! I'm also kind of a Mac computer nerd so wi-fi is a must... I've grown up in these SF hills and have gotten so used to the fabulous views, I couldn't live in any other neighborhood and now that I have kids, I appreciate the cool parks close by even more.
