Residenza dei Cappuccini Spello

Siamo stati accolti molto bene, il proprietario ci ha dato indicazioni molto precise e buoni suggerimenti su cosa fare nei giorni del soggiorno. La posizione è fantastica, in una stradina proprio tipicamente medievale del cuore di Spello. Bello l'appartamento, ancora più di quanto possano suggerire le foto.Bagno grande e spazioso.

Notre séjour à Spello fut magnifique et enchanteur. Et nos hôtes ont été très gentils et serviables. La résidence Dei Cappucini est confortable et superbe, tout à fait reposant et tranquille. Merci de votre accueil.

Two years ago we dropped in to Spello on our way past and decided to spend a couple of weeks here if we were ever in Italy again. We booked Residenza dei Cappuccini about 6 months ago and it was only when we stayed here that we realised that it is very popular and if we had waited much longer we may have been disappointed. We stayed in Il Tau as it was the last available. The apartments are beautifully and very tastefully finished. Il Tau apartment is a good size for two people and the furnishings are modern and comfortable. The kitchen is small but more than adequate for Spello. Other than preparing breakfast in the kitchen we only cooked one night as there are way too many excellent restaurants in Spello to bother cooking. The apartments (there are 3 in this group) are in the very best part of the old medieval town of Spello and very close to the parking which is just outside the wall on the top side of the old town. Our host met us at the bottom of the town and escorted us around to the top gate and showed us where to park. The WiFi is a bit weak and slow but acceptable. This is to be expected with such thick stone walls when accessing WiFi or mobile phones. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us and of all the apartments we have rented over the past year of traveling I would have to say that this one is the best so far. I highly recommend Residenza dei Cappuccini but book early and stay as long as you can. You won't be disappointed.

Monia was waiting for us as we arrived to her most charming apartment. The apartment was as pictured; beautiful!! Spello is a charming town that we wished we had stayed longer in especially because our accommodations were so lovely. Monia was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and information about Spello. We can't wait to return to Residenza die Cappuccini.

We really enjoyed our stay in Spello. The apartment had everything we needed and was exactly what we were hoping for. Monica and Gianluca were very responsive and gracious hosts. Highly recommended!

Spello was absolutely my favorite town in Umbria and this apartment was the perfect place to stay. It was on a charming street that was a short walk to everything. It was also very close to plenty of free parking. The apartment was clean and the hosts provided nice linens, all the essentials for cooking, and plenty of recommendations for what to do. If I go back to the area (and I hope to) I will certainly be staying here.

We stayed four nights in the incredibly beautiful Spello. Lots of tourists during the day but lovely and quiet in the evening. We would recommend eating at La Cantina dei Spello. Terrific. We stayed at Monia's larger apartment. Plenty of space with a nice bedroom and good bed. We wanted the private garden, but unfortunately there were very noisy building works during the day and it was impossible to be there with that happening. They were breaking up rocks!, and at night the mosquitos were driving us crazy, even though Monia did her best to help us with them.
