HOUSE RULES -
No parties, no loud music, no smoking inside the house. Only the number of guests you reserved should be at the house - any number over is considered a party. Austin's noise ordinance states no loud activity after 10:30pm. Please be respectful of our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum after that time - especially while on the back deck.
Smoking outside is fine, but please dispose of all cigarettes in the outside trash cans before you leave. If the house smells like smoke, you will be charged the security deposit.
Wine, beer, coffee, and tea are provided for you. Please be respectful.
$500 deposit refundable if home not damaged.
Very simple check out guidelines are provided in the Welcome Packet - we ask that you follow these before checking out of the house. We will claim the security deposit for any excessive cleaning (if the cleaning crew requires more than 3 hours).
If any violations of these house rules occur, you will owe the full deposit.
Thank you and enjoy your stay.
Fully-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, convection oven, and gas stove.
This home lives up to every detail described in the posting. Not only was the home clean and well maintained, but Crystal also has quite the collection of magazines and books. She left our crew a few beer in the fridge and there were extra soaps left in the closet. My group of friends who stayed here cooked each night in the kitchen, which was fully stocked with dishes, serving utensils, coffee beans, a kuerig, etc... When we weren't cooking, a short 15 minute drive landed us Downtown, South Congress, Barton Springs etc.. great location. Our first night in town we took a stroll over to east 6th street...very walkable.
Crystal's house was the perfect spot for our group of 5 to explore Austin. The house was a clean, cool, and quiet haven to come back to and enjoy the contents of the well stocked fridge on the back porch before heading out again to 6th St, which is only a short walk away. We didnt meet Crystal in person but she was always quick to reply to any queries, and left us a comprehensive list of local recommendations. We loved our stay here and would recommend this funky little place to anyone.
This was a perfect home for spending time in East Austin while still being able to have quick access to other parts of the city. Check in/out instructions were clear, and the house had everything we needed and wanted. It was well stocked. It was a hot weekend, and this was the most comfortable place in all of Austin, thanks to the awesome A/C. There is plenty to do with-in walking distance or short trip in the car, most of which is suggested in the check in folder. You really don't even need to leave the neighborhood, which feels like authentic Austin. Thank you!
This felt like the hip second home I would create if I'd had the idea and money. There was just enough space for a family of four for 10 days. Plenty of private space along with family space. Love the complimentary coffee, tea, shampoo, bath wash! I was able to keep up with laundry (with detergent provided) so that my return home was less hectic. Thank you! There were more than enough towels and robes for everyone and a library full of best sellers to borrow during down time.
The kitchen was high end, marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a great gas range. Crate and Barrel dishes, heavy weight silverware and glasses. We were able to defray costs of our vacation by cooking in for breakfast and lunch.
The decor is what you see in the photos.
It was my first time booking with Airbnb and I was so glad I did. My family and I were looking for a nice place to stay in Austin and was so happy to find this charming place. Crystal was very accommodating and booking was very easy. The place was very clean and had 3 comfortable rooms, perfect for 6 adults. I just adore this place and would book it again when we have the chance to visit Austin in the future. We have our 1 year old daughter with us and I requested a pack and play and Crystal had one ready for us in one of the rooms. Everything you need is in this place and a pretty neat backyard and patio. Thanks Crystal for being such a great host.
This is the perfect spot on the east side and the house is even better than the photos. It is nice and spacious with great decor and an amazing backyard. My friends and I were sad we were only in town one night and wished we could've enjoyed the house longer.
On top of all that, Crystal is the best hostess. She responds quickly, provides great instructions, and makes you feel at home. I highly recommend this place for your next Austin trip!
