This is the largest 2 BR in Waikiki...2,000 square feet of pure luxury. Beautifully decorated with every amenity imaginable.
This is a true Penthouse with 2 levels on the 38th and 39th floors. There's not another 2 BR in Waikiki like this. You will never forget your stay in this Penthouse. And, the price is less than many hotel rooms in Waikiki. It's an amazing value. Ask about last minute specials as well.
You enter the lower level on the 38th floor to a beautiful foyer. To your left is the enormous living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is highly upgraded with granite counter tops, flat top range and all high end accessories including blender, rice cooker, toaster and coffee maker, and even a champagne ice bucket and glasses.
The living room features two full length couches, a huge, 65" flat screen TV and free Wireless Internet. Professionally decorated with gorgeous Elephant Bamboo furniture.
To your right, is the downstairs second bedroom suite with full bath with rain shower and full size washer dryer. The second bedroom suite can have either two twins or one king with genuine Hawaiian quilt comforter.
Upstairs, is the sumptuous Master Suite. This is an enormous suite of over 500 square feet including private bath with rain shower. Full walk in closet as well and beautiful Elephant bamboo furniture.
The second bedrooms is equipped with complete allergen eliminating bed and pillow casings. These are fully breathable but eliminate any passage of molds, allergens, dust mites or liquids. You'll be sleeping on the cleanest beds and pillows in Hawaii. No hotel at any price offers this.
The views are magical as well with over 54 feet of floor to ceiling windows in the Penthouse. There's also a large, 36 foot lanai running the length of the Penthouse where you can enjoy the views, sip your morning coffee, have a meal or enjoy some champagne under the moonlight.
The normal rate in 2015 is $399/night and we are offering a discounted rate for $329/night on Airbnb, with parking fee of $12/night if needed and cleaning fee of $200, plus Hawaiian tax at 13.962%. In addition, there is a $500.00 refundable damage deposit required(will be returned after checking out).

Lovely apartment in a great location close to everything in Waikiki. Building is very secure. Bus stop out front, restaurants close by and Starbucks across the road. If you want to sleep past the sun coming up you will definately need eye masks! The curtains in main bedroom are not blockout and still let the light in as soon as the sun comes up at 5.30am. The curtains in the second bedroom are useless, they don't cover the window, big gaps between drops and are a loosely knitted fabric with holes that let all the light in. If you have more than 4 people and someone has to sleep in the sitting room, forget it as there are no curtains at all. I was disappointed with this as I had specifically asked Penny in communication prior to booking about the window coverings and she advised they were adequate. I feel like she mislead us on this matter. The rollaway bed mattress is terrible, lumpy and uncomfortable. The sofa's are not sofa beds and are rock hard with wooden boards under the cushions so no good to sleep on. We had to put the 2 thin fold out mattresses on the floor with rollaway mattress on top to try and make a semi comfortable bed for our daughter for 6 nights. This was very disappointing considering it is a lovely apartment and was quite expensive.
I only communicated with Penny via emails but she was very informative and efficient in her replies. The penthouse was exactly as pictured. No surprises. The view from the 38th floor was nothing short of amazing. There was more than ample room to fit 6 adults comfortably. Other than the decor being a bit dated and tired, it was adequate. Location was perfect! Close to everything. And it was really lovely meeting David on our last day. I would highly recommend this place to family & friends.

Muy bien ubicado y rodeado de todo lo que se te pueda ocurrir y a 6 minutos caminando de la playa.
Mi hijo adolescente y yo pasamos en él 8 noches y estuvimos muy cómodos en él.
Penny fue profesional y eficiente durante todo el proceso.
Y ante un problema menor descubierto la primera noche (unas lámparas que no funcionaban) gestionó el asunto con diligencia y rapidez y el propio dueño del apartamento lo solucionó yendo a él mientras nosotros estábamos cenando fuera.
El coste por noche no es barato, pero nada en Hawaii lo es, y comparado con el precio de una noche de hotel es una opción en mi opinión francamente mejor por el espacio que consigues y la experiencia del sitio.
Que es algo más parecido a vivir el lugar, no ser un turista alojado en un hotel.
Repetiríamos sin duda en caso de volver a Honolulu.
I communicated with Penny only through emails, and she was kind and helpful overall.
However, the people that I interacted face-to-face once I arrived there (the management office in the building) made some inappropriate and unpleasant comments. On my third day, the key to the unit didn't work because the lock -- which was VERY old, as I later heard from the locksmith -- stopped functioning. My family (including a small child) ended up wasting over 3 hours in total in the hallway and then in the lobby waiting for and watching the handyman, then a locksmith, working trying to open the door; our schedule for that afternoon was totally ruined. While my family waited, it took 2 hours for the management office to call and find a locksmith. What made us angry was that during that time the lady in the office seemed irritated that she had to do the extra work and shouted to blame us for not having notified the office on the first day (basically before the lock was broken -- who would!) Not the kind of service one would expect when paying ~$500 per night.
It has good location, very close to Waikiki beach. The building itself is very old (I read that it was constructed in mid-70s), and unfortunately it shows. The unit was one of the 7 "penthouses" on the same floor.
Staying in a condo on the 38th floor with beautiful views of the city and mountains was magical and indeed a treat. Penny Pung was very responsive to my emails and we felt right at home in the penthouse duplex. The condo was exactly as pictured and the location is perfect for the city and Waikiki Beach. My wife and I as well as my cousin and his wife stayed for a week and we both enjoyed our own private space as well as the the entire facility. This was a great rental opportunity and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family.

Though my first time visiting Hawaii and using AirBnB,lt was very comfortable. l just wanna stay here visiting Hawaii.
