Coffee and tea are available early morning on the landing while breakfast is served at a reasonable hour downstairs in the morning room. The space
Located in the center of the historic hamlet of Rensselaerville, the Catalpa House dates from 1806 and boasts a long history of hospitality, operating as a boarding house continuously from the 1920's to 70's. Lovingly refurbished with vintage fixtures to maintain the historic charm, fresh updates feature designer wallpaper and enveloping colors to evoke a modern Shangri-La. It is our pleasure to open our home to travelers looking for a restful retreat as well as the friends' and family of our own colorful community.
