Accommodation "Tower" dating from XII century, whose restoration was completed in 2014, is 120 square meters, with a separate entrance, three double bedrooms all with bathroom, kitchen and living room with windows overlooking the countryside.
The restoration of the tower was made with materials and techniques that allow this day to appreciate its charm. Wood and stone are the protagonists of this recovery.
All the rooms have windows overlooking the surrounding countryside. Interior furnishings come from a search based on the recovery of what is history, and according to a more modern reuse, without giving up functionality.
Housing is accessed by an external staircase in stone, on two levels, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, kitchen and living room.
The organic farm Palaia, spread over 25 hectares of hilly
territory at an altitude of about 350 meters above sea level.
On these hills of Florence, between the valleys of the rivers
Arno and Sieve, we produce organic extra virgin olive oil
and cultivate vineyards in Chianti designation D.O.C.G.
The constant search for excellence permeates the corporate
philosophy driven by passion and genuine principles. The
farmhouse complex consists of an original nucleus dates from
to 12th century, later expanded in the 16th century,
composed of a square tower, a farmhouse with loggia and a
barn. The buildings have been the subject of several
interventions of restoration. The last one took place in 2014
with recovery and requalification of the tower. The
farmhouse complex contains three accommodations: "Torre",
"Focolare" and "Botti". The farmhouse is first of all
hospitality but also the territory, environment, passion for
what we cultivate and love for our surroundings. It is a set of
values, the value of the land and labour that requires,
traditions and also pleasure. Pleasure to share with you a
land that we love, because all of this belongs to
you too. Choose a farm holiday means getting in
touch with nature, loving it as it is, with its perfumes,
colors, silence and why not with its noise, enjoying the
flavors of its fruits. Or just stay in the farmhouse that we
have recovered with the utmost care and attention, in respect
for all that is past and history. A stay in Palaia will be for you
an unforgettable opportunity to discover these treasures, as
well as finding a friendly and familiar place.
