Our house is close but not too close. We enjoy our guests who come from all over the world, but know how to give them privacy. We feel privileged to live in this beautiful spot. No pets please, they disturb our chickens! Come visit!
Interaction with Guests
We enjoy our guests and are always available but hope to give guests all the privacy they would like.
Our hill is a quiet residential area with easy access to walk down to town. We have very friendly neighbors who like to interact with our guests as much as we do.
No smokers please. No pets they disturb the chickens!
Kathleen's beautiful rose-covered cottage was a perfect weekend getaway! The house was clean and comfortable, including a kitchen fully equipped for cooking. We loved seeing (and feeding!) the chickens in the morning. Kathleen gave us great recommendations for dinners - Guerneville is an adorable town, and the cottage is walking distance to many great restaurants and an adorable coffee shop. We also enjoyed Armstrong Woods, which is only 2 miles away!
We had a great stay at the Rose Cottage. It was exactly as described and Kathleen took a good amount of time ensuring we were familiar with the surrounding area and attractions. It is the perfect place for a cozy getaway in Guerneville as downtown is just 3 short blocks in distance. Would highly recommend.
Perfect getaway! Location is very close to the mountain state park, walking distance to the town, and short driving distances to neighboring towns, such as Bodega Bay, etc. As described, the place is nicely maintained, private and well-equipped with modern amenities. Kathleen is also very accomodating and a wonderful host.
Kathleen was a super host! Not only was the cottage incredibly charming and beautiful, but Kathleen had left a binder full of recommended restaurants, bars, hikes, wineries, and activities. It made our first trip to Guerneville (and Valentine's Day weekend) incredibly memorable. Kathleen was also super communicative and made check-in and check-out a breeze. We would absolutely stay here again!
Just as advertised... Very quiet, well-cared for, 5-minute walk to downtown Guerneville. The cabin had everything we needed with well-appointed kitchen, comfortable furnishings, wireless access. Kathleen was a knowledgeable and helpful host-- this was our first visit to The Russian River region and she was wealth of useful information.
