We're also happy to make recommendations for restaurants and places to go and we provide a comprehensive map of Raleigh's downtown areas. We're in and out a lot ourselves so our guests have a key and come and go as they like.

Staying with Ginny & Tom was great. The room was exactly as advertised, large, bright, and it had a great big desk. The home is in a beautiful residential area but just a quick 15 minute walk to downtown. I also enjoyed sipping my morning coffee on the porch swing. Ginny & Tom were great hosts. I would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay in Raleigh.
Tom and Ginny keep a clean and gorgeous home, well-located in a walkable neighborhood, with all amenities just as advertised. Ginny was out of town during my visit, but Tom made me feel welcome and was friendly without interfering with my privacy. I would highly recommend staying here over any other option in Raleigh.
Ginny and Tom are pros at hosting and their beautiful home was well appointed for visitors. They are located in a lovely historic neighborhood with the added bonus of being a short walk to downtown. I hope to stay again on my next trip to Raleigh. Thanks so much!
Ginny and Tom were very welcoming on arrival and I felt comfortable right away. The listing is spot on accurate - walked the historic neighborhood and to downtown, ate breakfast on the deck overlooking the beautiful backyard, was given privacy when needed and also interacted to learn about the area. One item that needs mentioning is that the room is on the second floor and a guest must be able to negotiate a long flight of stairs well. The stay was just what I was looking for and I hope to be able to visit again someday.
Lovely home in an historic neighborhood of Raleigh. Tom and Ginny were warm and engaging. It was the perfect spot for me!
Lovely big old house in a great neighborhood convenient to downtown and NC State, where I was taking a course. I really enjoyed meeting Ginny and Tom, the room was comfortable, they were hospitable. I even sat on the deck one afternoon to take a conference call and enjoyed their nicely landscaped back yard. Very pleasant - I recommend it!
