Interaction with Guests
Sky City Apartments has as much or as little interaction as you like. We have 24 hour customer service support, so if you need something we're there for you. But you are also renting a self-service apartment, so if you don't want to be bothered you won't be. We aim to make your stay as smooth and convenient as possible.
Just a 10 minute drive from South Beach, this area is a cultural, financial, and commercial center of South Florida. In recent years, Downtown Miami has grown to become the fastest-growing area in Miami, home to many major museums, parks, schools and colleges, banks, companies, courthouses, government offices, theaters, shops and many of the oldest buildings in the city.
Downtown Miami is the historic heart of Miami, and along with Coconut Grove, is the oldest settled area of the city. Within this area is where the majority of Miami's historic buildings are, as well as the main shopping street, famous Flagler Street, museums, libraries, offices, schools and colleges, and the vast majority of local, county, state and federal government offices and courthouses.
Brickell is south of the Miami River, and is a mixed upper-class residential neighborhood as well as Miami's major financial district. The Shops at Mary Brickell Village and Simpson Park are located within Brickell. Omni is an urban neighborhood with numerous hotels, and high-rise residential buildings. The neighborhood's name comes from the Omni International Mall on Biscayne Boulevard. Pace Park, Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, and the Miami Herald headquarters are located within Omni.
The Miami Jewelry District is a sub-neighborhood of Downtown within the Central Business District, known for its numerous jewelry stores, jewelers and gem dealers. It is where a variety of jeweled products are sold and is one of the three jewelry districts in the United States. Shoppers can find designer jewelry, precious stones, and gold and silver items at street level in various retail jewelry stores.
Public transportation in the Downtown area is used more than in any other part of Miami and is a vital part of local life. Metrorail, Miami's heavy rail system, makes 3 stops in the region. In addition to Metrorail, the Metromover is free and stations can be found at roughly every two blocks in Downtown and Brickell.
Bayfront Park is host to the free DWTWN Concert Series, put on weekly in the park's amphitheater, as well as various other annual events such as the Orange Drop for New Year's, Bike Miami, and the "America's Birthday Bash at Bayfront Park" for Independence Day. Bicentennial Park hosts many large outdoor concerts such as Warped Tour and Ultra Music Festival. Bicentennial Park is currently planned to be redone, and is to include the new buildings for the Miami Art Museum and the Miami Science Museum.
Arrival and Departure:
Guests may check in from 3:00 PM onwards on their arrival date and must check out by 11:00 AM on the day of their departure. If due to travel times, you are arriving early or are departing late, you may come to our local office, where you can store your luggage and use the facilities as needed. Please note that you must coordinate luggage storage and use of the lounge with an office staff member in advance.
If the apartment is available and the cleaning schedule allows for it, we always do our best to accommodate early arrivals and late departures at no extra cost. However, whether or not it can be done is often unknown until the last minute, so if you absolutely require more time in the unit, it is suggested that you book an extra night in order to guarantee it. Otherwise, you can use the options mentioned above and we will get you into the apartment by 3 PM. Also note that loitering in the lobby of any residential building is prohibited, so guests may not proceed to the building until check-in time. Early arrivals or late departures must come straight to the office.
There is a penalty of 10% for cancellations made more than 30 days in advance, to cover the costs of processing the booking and refund. If you cancel more than 15 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 15 days of your scheduled arrival cannot be refunded as it is virtually impossible for us to resell a property on such short notice for an exact set of dates. We cannot take responsibility for sudden illnesses, family emergencies, transportation or weather issues or any other last minute changes to a guest's schedule. We do recommend the purchase of travel insurance should this be a possibility or concern. Refunds will be made to the original form of payment within three business days.
Property Rules and Regulations:
All SCA apartments have a strict no-smoking policy (there is a $500 minimum charge for violating this policy due to damage control and equipment/furniture replacement) and pets are not allowed inside at any time.
Under no circumstances should guests unplug or move any of the electronics or lighting fixtures inside of the apartment. This is for your own safety and for the safety and convenience of future guests. If you need to use a power outlet, please look for one that is not being used. You can normally find one near the TV or sofa bed.
Lost keys will incur a fee of $50 per key set to have replacements made.
Guests shall comply with all house rules and regulations pertaining to the building in which the apartment is located, including but not limited to trash and recycling procedures, noise level limits and appropriate conduct within the building's public spaces.
All SCA properties are self-(website hidden) is responsible for full housekeeping services before each new arrival and after every departure. Guests are responsible for their own housekeeping and laundry during their stay, including trash disposal and recycling, unless other arrangements are made.
If an apartment that you have reserved becomes unavailable due to factors outside our control (i.e., plumbing issues, electrical outages, etc.), Sky City Apartments will offer you alternative accommodations of equal or higher quality. If you choose not to accept the alternatives offered, Sky City Apartments will provide a full refund to the original form of payment of all monies paid, without penalty, within three business days.
Sky City Apartments is obligated to keep the designated property reserved for and available to the guest for the agreed-upon dates. The guest is obligated to pay in full the applicable rental charges for the property (and associated taxes as required by law) upon booking, and is responsible for payment of additional services that may be requested, such as housekeeping or airport transfer. Sky City Apartments reserves the right to charge updated rates if the guest wishes to make any later modifications to the reservation.
Sky City Apartments cannot assume responsibility for damage to or loss of personal possessions or for injuries sustained on the premises due to personal negligence or forces of nature, including but not limited to regional service outages that may temporarily restrict TV or Internet access, property maintainance that may limit or deny access to building amenities (ie. swimming pool closed for cleaning, terrace closed for construction), constructive work in neighboring apartments during daytime hours and temporary building-wide water, hot water or electrical outages. Guests are liable for excessive damage to the premises that may exceed normal wear and tear or for excess soilage that may require special cleaning. Costs required to repair such damages will be charged to the credit card on file.
Please do not have mail or packages shipped directly to any given apartment, as there is a high turnover rate and deliveries are likely to be returned to the sender or lost altogether. If you truly need to receive mail while on your trip, please have your deliveries sent to our local office, where you can pick it up at your convenience. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for packages or their contents.
All customer service requests must be directed to Sky City Apartments and not to the building staff. We are responsible for all customer service needs and are charged a penalty if our guests approach the building staff for assistance, which will be charged back to the guest at the rate of $50 per occurrence. To avoid such charges, please be sure to communicate directly with SCA with any questions or issues related to your stay.
We had a wonderful stay with Sky City. Aaron communicated very well and was highly responsive with all of my questions. My family was so impressed with the apartment, the apartment is exactly like the pictures and the views are spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. We would definitely stay here again, and it was a pleasure working with the Sky City company. They are professional, customer service oriented, and responsive, I couldn't be more impressed.
Everything was exactly as described. I was very happy with the entire experience. The pool was particularly nice.
Fantastic apartment! So easy to check in and to get in contact with someone in case we had questions. Views were amazing and the beds and living room were very comfortable. Also love the Viceroy. Parking was easy through the valet service and the cafe and pool were great.

This space was absolutely remarkable. It came with great views and amenities. Tiffany was a great host and provided me with everything I needed. The location of the building was right in the heart of the financial district; where a lot of young professionals stay. 10 minutes driving to south beach. I would recommend this condo to anyone and will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for everything Tiffany.
