The space
We’ve appointed this home with the kinds of thoughtful features and decor that we’d want for ourselves: beautiful art, designer touches, comfortable yet beautiful furniture, plush mattresses, luxurious towels, a fully equipped kitchen, and so much more.

Living Room

The bright living room is tastefully decorated yet cozy– a great place to relax with a glass of wine and good conversation. Or settle for the night and binge your favorite local and cable channels with Xfinity cable or login to your Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, etc. on the smart TV.

Gorgeous hardwood floors throughout the home, along with cozy area rugs in just the right places.

Bedroom 1

This room has a lovely queen-size bed, mid-century-inspired built-in dressers, and bookshelves, with delightful earth-tone decorator touches. The bedroom is also equipped with a TV.

Bedroom 2

This room has a comfy queen-sized bed, armchair, and plenty of storage. It’s decorated in cool, restful tones. The bedroom is also equipped with a TV.

Bathrooms

There are two full bathrooms (one small with a shower), each decorated in clean black, white, and shades of gray, one with a black subway tile shower and the other with a gray ombre subway tile full bathtub/shower.

A stackable washer and dryer combo is also available to guests.

Kitchen / Dining

In classic San Francisco fashion, this sunny kitchen is located at the back of the home. Updated with high-end appliances, granite countertops, midcentury modern elements, and art, it retains some of the original architectural elements like turn-of-the-century framing and quaint touches, including a lovely coffee bar nook.

The gourmet, eat-in kitchen has a 6-burner gas stove, dual wall ovens, a microwave, dishwasher, and stainless steel refrigerator/freezer with both water and ice dispensers. The private backyard is accessible through French doors in the kitchen/dining area.

Yard & Outdoor Living

The beautiful, landscaped yard has a large deck with outdoor dining for six and a lounge area surrounded by trees and plants. Stroll further out across the meticulously landscaped stone and grass path to a second deck with another seating area–perfect for enjoying birdsong with a cup of coffee in the morning.

Guest access
Welcome to Noe Valley--one of the best-kept secrets of San Francisco. You'll have the entire downstairs unit of the home to yourself, including the large, beautifully landscaped yard.

Note: this home building has two separate units, one on each floor. This unit is the entire bottom floor, the top floor is occupied and has a separate entrance.

Other things to note
The front door private entry is accessed via a staircase; therefore this property is not suitable for wheelchairs or guests who cannot walk up a flight of stairs.

No parties, events, or pets.

Central heating but no AC, which is common in San Francisco. We do have fans for hot days.

When you stay at our home, you’ll be a short walk from the 24th street restaurants, cafes, and boutiques but far enough away not to be impacted by noise or crowds.
Enjoy the intimate neighborhood feel in one of the most walkable and sunny areas of San Francisco. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful Victorian homes and friendly locals in this safe, quiet area at the center of “The City,” as we locals like to call it.
Be sure to check out the Saturday Farmers Market if you can. It’s also walking distance from the Noe Valley Town Square.

My wife Reyna and I love to entertain friends and family in our home and we’d like to think that hosting here is a kind of extension of that hospitality. We’re San Francisco locals (we live in the upstairs unit) who like to travel, try new restaurants, practice at the batting cage, go bowling, see a Broadway musical, or have fun cheering on the Giants or 49ers! We’re always exploring and enjoy sharing our finds with our guests. San Francisco is never boring, but we also enjoy day and weekend trips to the nearby Napa wine country, or out to the coast. We love the ocean and especially the jellyfish exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We’d be delighted to host you as you explore the area!
