Navigating to find the lockbox and the loft unit was a bit of challenge if arriving after dark, kind of a scavenger hunt. The unit was spacious and large with a coffee maker, cable TV and clean. A bit odd in it's layout - seems it may have been used for production space recently. The location was perfect for work/ my particular visit this trip and meetings, but the area of E. 6th is growing - it is not the ideal place for those looking for the nightlight of town, or most central location. Great for those looking to stay and / or explore East 6th.
What a lovely loft! Just the perfect space for my parents to stay for the long weekend! Location is pretty ideal if you plan on spending a lot of time in the east side: is super close to both I35 and 183 (which means just a quick trip to and from the airport!) Building was quiet and clean.
Frederick was extremely communicative and easy to work with. Overall a great experience! Thank you!
Fred's place is amazing! We could not have asked for better. Staying in a hotel suite as nice as this would have cost a fortune. It is a steal to be able to have this place all to ourselves for such a good deal. There is a ton of sleeping space. The balcony and living room was our favorite part, such a nice view and nice to have the door open with the screen closed on nice days. He has all the entertainment equipment you could want, including speakers and a headphone jack to play music through your phone. the apartment complex itself is really nice too, with a courtyard, lots of dogs, and a community garden.
Fred was so nice, helpful and accommodating. He let us check in early and out late according to our flights, and when my flight got in even earlier than expected he had the cleaning lady let me up so i could drop off my stuff and explore the town. He sent us a ton of helpful info about austin before had. Really he could not have been a more wonderful host.
The area was probably our favorite part. Amazing location. We walked the whole time, only took a cab to and from the airport (that walking included: easy walk to great bars near by on the hipster side of 6th like liberty, the white horse, and hotel vegas; easy walk a little further to downtown and dirty 6th st; walk to the lake via Chavez st; and we even walked to downtown south congress (soco), though that might be a little far for some people about 3 miles). there is so much to explore in his neighborhood. so many great food trucks and restaurants near by. would not have wanted to stay anywhere else!
Frederick was the consummate host. He was prompt to ensure I was able to get into his loft successfully upon my arrival. And was very responsive throughout my visit. The loft was spacious and though feeling a bit remote, it had many nearby establishements which were consistent with Austin's charm. Getting downtown was an easy 20 minute walk, or there was a bike rental station just across the street from the loft.
The place was modern and located in a great part of town. I stayed here for a month and would stay again. Fred was helpful and provided lot of details prior to my arrival.
Great loft apartment in an excellent, convenient location. Host was gracious and communicative.
the loft was comfortable and a perfect location for us. An easy walk to the Lake for morning exercise, very close to the airport and convenient to all of Austin. Coffee and half and half were there in the morning, and a few magazines on what to do in Austin were very much appreciated.

I am an entrepreneur self funding a company, so I use Airbnb to keep some of my costs in check. I spend about 50% of my time on the road. I work in technology. I am my own boss...well, except for the money part. Love art, coffee, red wine and low drama.
