The Hobo B&B is a meeting point for travellers, riders, bikers, families and students.
It is an ideal base and start point for subject trails about culture, art, biking, food and wine.
All the rooms are cozy and with a private bathroom.
Breakfast and parking are included in the price.
To enjoy their stay at best, our guests can access the house at any time, for their convenience and total privacy.
The B&B is located at 15 minutes drive from Venice, in the heart of the "Riviera del Brenta" area, with its famours artistic and historical villas.
You can reach us easily: 5 minutes drive from the “Mira-Oriago” exit of the Motorway to Venice (A4) and at the same distance from the railway station for Venice/Padova. We are 20 km from the “Marco Polo” Venice airport.
It is spacious, clean, and quiet. Valentina picked us up and dropped us off at the train station when we arrived and left. She is an absolutely wonderful host. You will definitely be well taken care of here.
We were there solely for visiting Venice and one drawback for us was the distance. The last train is at 10:15. We missed it once and there are not many options for getting back! It would also have been nice to be able to pop back to the room to rest for the afternoon during the hottest part of the day and head back out again, but that would've taken more than an hour total of commuting and another 4.80 euros each for train tickets.
But if you have a car and want to explore the other cities in the area like verona, padua, or treviso along with Venice, this would be absolutely perfect!
In short: five stars for hospitality and four for location.
I enjoyed our stay at Hobo B&B. Valentina is extremely gracious, and has built a wonderful b&b from the ground up. She picked us up at the train station with our bags and was kind enough to take us to the airport early in the morning for a small fee.
The only caveat one must realize is the distance from the city of Venice. I don't think the listing emphasizes this enough; it's either a 30-40 minute walk or a 10-15 minute bike ride to/from the station. My mom hadn't been on a bike in 25 years, and was not happy about our daily commute. With her being too anxious to ride the whole thing (1/2 way without a sidewalk), it took us about 25 minutes to ride/bike. Trains come every 20-40 minutes, so make sure you know the schedule and account for the time spent biking/walking.
We had a fine stay and I recommend this B&B, just be aware of the time required to get in/out of the city - especially if you don't bike.
This BNB is really amazing. Valentina lives for her guests, she integrates them so naturally into her own procedures, its really amazing. Each rooms got its own colour. I was hosted in the yellow room which had really nice details - everythinh with relation to the colour. She picks you up at the railway station if you like or lends you a bike. So you can feel completely independent. Cheers!
Valentina is a great host. She made us feel comfortable and at home the moment we arrived. She treats you like a long time friend. She designed her place beautifully; it is spacious and has a nice mix of modern and rustic. We only stayed for two nights but we could see ourselves staying for weeks. The location is ideal for visiting Venice, especially, when you travel by car.
We highly recommend Hobo and would/will go back.
The reservation was canceled 62 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Valentina was such an incredible host. If I could model a b+b back home, it would be just like hobo...very clean and well kept, the breakfast was great and fresh (homemade jams and crossiants) with Italian coffee and juice...she also provides bikes to get around and a wealth of information on Venezia. Cannot recommend staying here enough! Grazie Mille Vale
Great B&B: extremely clean, comfortable and homey. The rooms are very spacious, with private bathrooms and with wifi connection.
Valentina is a fantastic and very helpful host. She prepares very nice breakfasts and provided her guests with useful information and advice.
The B&B is perfect for rural tourism as it is sorrounded by fields and it has a large back garden with trees of various types.
The nearest train station for Venice is about 2 km away from the B&B, however there are bicycles to borrow. Also Valentina gave us a lift from and to the train station when we arrived and left.
I loved this place and would def come back if in Venice again.
While this B&B is slightly outside Venice, its' country side location provides an excellent contrast to the business and intensity of the city. Its a short walk to the train station where you can pick up a train straight into Venice. However this walk provides a great chance to see a little of the Italian countryside.
The B&B is clean, modern and bright. Valentina is a lovely host who could not do enough to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this location.
Very clean and cosy place, warm hostess and delicious breakfast.
Valentina was an excellent hostess! She picked me up from the train station when I arrived and had breakfast for us each morning. The only bummer was that she closed the kitchen at 8pm at night so we couldn't make dinner one night after we returned from Venice starving.
I'm sorry for having closed the door, but the living room is divided. There is one for guests and one for me. I also explained that I gave you to use the kitchen, but not the right to open my drawers, get my things without asking. This thing did not appeal much to me. I had explained to you and to all my guests who respect the rules of the house. I hope to see you because I liked you a lot.
