Nestled among the rolling hills of Daynabrook Farms, our serene cabin carries a history as timeless as the land itself. Originally built by Kentucky’s Governor Wilkins as his private party retreat, the cabin was designed as a secluded escape where he could entertain guests and enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside.
While the space has been refreshed for modern comfort, many of its original touches remain. If you take a moment to peek at the walls inside, you’ll find the original blueprints of Wilkins’ floor plan thoughtfully displayed—offering a rare look into the governor’s vision for his hidden getaway.

Today, the cabin offers a peaceful haven for visitors seeking stillness, charm, and a connection to Kentucky history. And you may meet one of our favorite residents during your stay: Kiki, our friendly farm cat. He loves greeting guests and making himself at home on the porch. If he stops by looking for a snack, his food is conveniently kept in the pantry.
