  • Our stay at Podere Orto really made our trip to Tuscany special. The perfect antithesis to "pool" agrotourismos, Manuela's home has a real charm that doesn't try to be traditional. If you're looking for delicious homemade food, tranquil atmosphere, and a personal experience, this is your spot.

We absolutely loved every breakfast we had there -- the eggs from her chickens are delicious and the homemade bread and jam was fantastic. The room was charming and clean.

Manuela also gave us some really wonderful suggestions about places to visit in the surrounding area. We are so grateful we stayed there!

  • I had an amazing stay at this sweet little farm. The atmosphere is tranquil, rustic and gentile. The location is great as well. Manuella the woman who owns it is a beautiful soul. She is the heart of that whole place. The eggs and fruit are yummy. I will be back for sure!

  • Our stay with Manuela was excellent, her farm is gorgeous and the house is lovely and relaxing. Manuela was really helpful with local information.

Our communication with Lisa Rosa wasn't the best as we had messaged her to request 6 nights which she confirmed, she then confirmed the booking. However, after this Lisa Rosa realised that she had double booked us for the last 3 nights which meant that we had to find new accommodation and the process we had to go through to change the booking was a hassle.

Definitely recommend staying with Manuela at Podere Orto!! Great location to explore Tuscany with a car.

  • Manuella was a lovely hostess. And what a special spot - very tranquil and so beautiful with great views. We loved our stay at Podere Orto and would hope to go back one day. The breakfast was fantastic, fresh fruit, delicious scrambed eggs from Manuella's chickens. The room was clean, cool and the bed was very comfy. What more can you ask for? A stunning spot just outside the village of Vico D'elsa. Highly recommended for a wonderful Tuscan experience.

  • Wow!!!!! Ten out Ten. Is all a person can say. The best stay in a Airbnb since I came to Europe two and a half months ago. This was my 11 Airbnb stay and the room had everything a traveler needed and more. Breakfast was all homemade bread jams and fresh eggs from the chickens. But the best was the place just calms your spirit. Manu the owner had the kindest heart. Thank you for a unforgettable stay my Tuscan friends.

  • Podere Orto was a terrific find. Manuela was a perfect host and her assistant Dudi (the yellow lab), made us feel right at home. The location was very peaceful and serene. Breakfast was delicious. When we return to Tuscany we will stay at Podere Orto.

  • This is an amazing place! My friend and I spend two days (one night) here and it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the nature of Tuscany. The house and garden is beautiful and Manuela was so friendly and helpful - and her breakfast the best we had on our trip! We felt so inspired being here - relaxing, reading books and doing yoga on the veranda, eating purple plums from the garden, go for walks and have delicious Italian food at a restaurant nearby. We would both love to come back!

  • This was one of our favorite stays in Italy. We loved visiting the farm, relaxing on the porch and reading and wandering around the small village. Our host was incredibly kind and friendly and made outstanding bread and jam while we were there. We enjoyed escaping the hot city to relax here and enjoyed just walking around and resting. We had an incredible trip and great memories!

  • We had a lovely stay at Podere Orto. It was the down-to-earth farm stay getaway that we needed. Gracious host and relaxed atmosphere, with an easy drive to tourist spots and the back roads of Tuscany. Thanks again and all the best.
