Cozy apartment, on Metro A Furio Camillo, very close to the Center, offers good neighborhood, coffee bars, restaurants, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, it gives cocoon-like feelings, like a haven of rest.
A fresh renovated apartment, with contemporary colors (white-grey-green- aquamarine and a taste of red) and some old white wood, is located on the first floor of a building in a residential quarter, 50 mt to metro A Furio Camillo. In the area there are restaurants, pizzerias, coffee bars and bistros, ice-cream parlors, supermarkets and fresh market around the corner, and lots of "best places" chosen by modern romans. By metro A under the apartment, in few minutes you can reach all the "locations" in the center (San Giovanni, Holy Stairs, Colosseum, Barberini, Spanish steps, Pantheon, Vatican City). Inside the apartment, you find a fully furnished kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom with a bed for two persons that can become a sofa. An additional comfortable inflatable bed can be provided. Bed linen and towels, phone, iron and iron table, coffee machine, fridge, cooking staff are provided. It's totally quiet, very easy if you use the public transport system. On foot you can go to Basilica S. John in Lateran, Colosseum and via dei Fori Imperiali, with a longer walk you reach Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, S.Peter Church and the Vatican city. If you love nature you can dive into the very close-by natural Park of Caffarella and the Ancient Appia Archeological Park (on Sunday morning, seasonal excursions are organized) through which you can reach San Callisto, Cecilia Metella and Ancient Appia street. There is a marketplace where you can find typical products, fresh vegetables and fruit (also a couple of biologic shops). Few meters from home there's another green area called Villa Lazzaroni, a public park with an area for kids.
You have access to wi-fi and all the things you find in a practical although minimal apartment to allow you a little but free space to live.
Interaction with Guests
I am present directly or by phone. By mail I am also always reachable, to suggest or support You in your staying in Rome. I have also a good friend of mine available, when I am not.
Lovely neighborhood, very helpful.
The quarter is a residential one, but also a famous and frequented commercial area with shops on the main street Appia. As many other quarters, it was a popular one (as the quarters of Trastevere, Monti, Campo de' Fiori) and it has a good fresh market.
The quarter offers two big parks, many bars and restaurants and if you like walking you can reach whatever on foot, either going from Appia street to Basilica S. John in Lateran and Holy stairs and to Colosseum, via dei Fori Imperiali, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, but also San Lorenzo (University area) or Pigneto quarter, meanwhile taking a look to the boutiques of the area, trying a good cake or a piece of pizza!
There are several roman sites to be visited inside the Caffarella Park and the Ancient Appia Archeological Park (suggested during the daylight) till the Catacombe di San Callisto, San Sebastiano and Santa Domitilla.
Underground A, Furio Camillo, is just under the apartment. You reach in few minutes the center (direction Battistini): Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Barberini square, Popolo square, Colosseum, Monti quarter, University city (La Sapienza, Roma2) but also University Tor Vergata and Ciampino airport (direction Anagnina).
Buses go day and night to Colosseum, San Giovanni, Piazza Venezia, Appia Antica, Vatican city.
Train station Tuscolana (10 min distance from the apartment) connects fast and easily to Airport Fiumicino, Tiburtina station, Trastevere station, Ostiense station.
You can buy tickets for 1.5 euro for metro-bus-train, for long staying you can buy a pass for one day, three days, a week or a month. This option is the best and it is absolutely suggested for staying of one week or more. You can buy the pass in tobacco shops, in some kiosks or at info-points!
There is also a useful taxi Parking on Appia street, few meters from the apartment, where you can find taxi .
Other Things to Note
If you are on a long staying there are laundries, parkings, gyms, cinemas, supermarkets, stores, pizzerias, good shops, boutique etc., all you need in Everyday life and in a Special Italian period of life.
Respectful as in a good feeling of life, as I wish You
Thanks Micaela for her warm welcome. Apartment was very clean and tidy. It was close to the public transport, local daily markets, organic and grocery shops.
Micaela was very helpful and friendly, she gave us advices about printing and laundry services.
We would definitely recommend it for everyone!
P.S. Bowl of fruits was a very nice addition! )))
Micaela was very helpful and friendly in describing the way to get there - responded quickly.
The apartement is in a really good shape - and we felt very comfortable staying there.
The apartement was close to the metro - so it was easy to get to the sights.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Micaela's apartment. It was very clean, convenient to the metro and had plenty of dining opportunities around. We liked having our morning 'caffe' at the local farmer's market and buying pastries from the bakery across the road. From metro line A, it is a short 10min train ride into the centre of Rome and after a long day of walking the streets and lane ways, coming back to the apartment is like a haven to escape the busyness of Rome. We felt safe in the neighbourhood and would recommend this apartment highly. Plus good wifi.
We loved our stay in Micaela`s apartment, we traveled with our 2 year old daughter and Micaela got us a crib for her.
The apartment is completely renovated and was very clean and tidy, despite not having livingroom was perfect for our stay.
Claudio, Micaela's friend who received us, was very friendly and gave us some important tips.
We would definetly rent it again.
We really love our stay in Micaela's apartment !
Here personal welcome was great and the apartment too.
Very clean, cosy and specious in an area we love very much.
The restaurant next to the door is very good, with fantastic fresh and divers food as fish, meat and pasta.
The food market is very near.
The Metro a few staps and you can reach the city center very easy.
For sure we come back.maybe with my next exhibition in Rome Micaela. Grazie per tutti !!! Pien
Grazie ancora.

Roma, Ravenna and Sicily (for my love!)
Artist (painting, installations).
I love Art, Travel, Happyness. I love hosting people travelling and visiting my city! In vacation, during this time away from the usual home it happens to wonder! mind and heart are open!
I am curious about places, culture, art and about food I like trying tipical plates.
In Rome I wouldn't miss the tipical "tonnarelli cacio e pepe" (pasta with cheese and pepper) "matriciana" (pasta with tomato sauce, bacon, onion, hot pepper) "carciofi alla romana" (artichoke)!!!
