Come experience the refreshing beauty of nature amidst the foothills of the Sierras in this family-friendly, homestead upstart. Stay in your own romantic glam lotus tent- a king-sized bed, hot showers, mini fridge, outdoor kitchen with a stunning mountain view, tree swing, and (seasonal) pool. We'd love to tell you our story of leaving city life to start our journey towards self-sustaining land management and the opportunity to get up close with our hens, llamas & multiple animals

The space
In February 2024 our tent was severely damaged from a blizzard. In May, we bought and installed a brand new tent and have just recently put it back on Airbnb.

Please disregard the negative review that our guest in February left about our tent. Unfortunately, he drove up on the day that the tent was destroyed from the blizzard. We now plan on taking down our tent every winter. Our new tent is in perfect condition and we are sure that you will love staying in it. One note: new pictures are incoming- we do not have a clear, stargazer ceiling any longer as it failed the structural integrity of the tent in storms.

Other things to note
In colder weather, there is a heated blanket on the bed.

*Internet in the tent is not guaranteed.. you may have to sit poolside for best coverage.

*All pets MUST remain on leash when outdoors for the safety of our animals

*ALL gates MUST remain closed and secured behind you for the safety of our livestock. when you approach in your car, please unchain gate, open and drive through, then park, close gate and rechain. This has to happen every time you enter or exit the property

Within several miles are thrilling cavern adventures of the abandoned El Dorado gold mines, awe-inspiring hikes with swimming holes for summer time, flowing mountain river streams with world-class white water rafting, and lakes surrounded by sprawling hills of lupins and poppies in spring.  Also within driving distance is the renowned Calaveras Big Trees State Park with some of the world's largest (as the name insists) and oldest trees, winter time snowboarding and skiing, wine tasting and live music in the vibrant acclaimed town of Murphy’s and so much more!
