Right in the heart of historical Arles "La Roquette" which used to be the fisher's district.
Charming "Arlésienne" house with modern-typed furnishing. Her biggest pro: the presence of a green garden, private, where a large table will let you enjoy meals outside, in the shade of the trees or the arbour.!
She will charm any art and design enthusiast with her elegant decoration, XX's century design "pieces" chosen. On the walls are several contemporary paintings and photographs.
The house is 150 sqmeters + green garden, well exposed to sunlight (south-east), & was totaly renovated in june 2012 therefore is in good condition, all the architecturals details that made provencals houses typical & beautiful have been retained.
We choose to keep the original floors (tiled cement ) in original condition ,
Situated in proximity of all kinds of shops (food, clothing...) and touristic destinations (museums, art galleries, ruins...).
La Roquette is a safe & very lovely district,
You will be at walking distance (less than 3minutes walk garantied) of several bars, restaurants & any attractions...
And good ones, we'll provide you our best choice, the best addresses! Where to be!
Every saturday, is organised one of the biggest and most beautiful open-sky market of Provence, one end of which is 100 meters away from the house. You can actually go everywhere by foot from the house, no need to use your car once you are there.

Definitely one of the nicest places I've stayed in on Airbnb. The house is absolutely bursting with character and really stylishly decorated. Unfortunately it was a little too cold to make use of the beautiful garden. Everything around communication, check in, check out was also very smooth and easy. Would highly recommend.
The most wonderful house (furnished in a very cool homely fashion) great kitchen for cooking (supermarkets at the end of the street) and a delightful garden - all in a suburb of France that we adored. The first day we discovered the antique markets, then on Saturday the most incredible food markets (keep walking to the end you'll find the best fresh meat seafood and veges). My favourite air bnb house yet. A great spot to explore Southern France. Pont de gard, vineyards and pink flamingos only 30mins away. J'adore la maison! Book it you won't be sorry. It's divine.
The house is very nice and even if given the season we could not use the garden in spring must be even more charming. Wonderful kitchen. The host was kind and responsive to our requests. In winter the lower floor is kind of cold.
The house in rue de la Roquette was fantastic. Great neighbourhood, great location, nice Arlesian neighbours. The house: superb, well appointed with the things one needs, lots of good artefacts! Our host and the manager were very attentive and helpful. We walked to all the sights and markets. Airbnb faultless also. Highly recommended.
A beautiful city house where every object tells a story and has its place. We loved the transformation of the house, the interior design, the furniture and the wonderful and quiet garden. The house has a soul and we were happy to be its guests. A great experience and a perfect place to explore the wonderful city of Arles.
Beautiful, large house completed with a fabulous garden that we used everyday for breakfast and dinner.
The house is perfectly located, you can walk to all Arles attractions but is still very quiet.
Sylvie and Patrice were incredibly helpful in providing us fantastic dinner recommendations. Their insights made us feel like locals, everyone in the restaurants know them and have beautiful things to say about them.
Highly recommended for up to 8 people, 4 couples, 2 couples with kids...
