The Space

Hi, this is a double bedroom in my apartment, guests have their own bathroom, equipt with shower & toilet, as well as washing facilities. Full use of kitchen & lounge area.

Wifi connection & TV included, use of washing machine if required. Free on street parking means there are no expensive car park fees.

Located in a convenient position, with good transport links to all of the major sights in London,10 minutes from Brixton Tube Station. A two minute walk from frequent bus services.

Brixton is an exciting & vibrant area to visit with a varied selection of restaurants & bars, there is also a wide selection of live music & the West End is nearby for Theatre lovers.

I'm a music lover who likes to run marathons, if you're also a runner, bring your trainers & you'll have a running partner, there are many parks in the area. Brockwell park being a five minute walk away. Being close to the Brixton Academy, I'm in a great spot for gig goers!

My flat is peaceful, despite being in a busy area, I love sitting on my balcony & watching the world go by, it is located on the third floor of a block & is not suitable for people of limited mobility, as there is no lift.

I love living here & am sure you will love visiting.

The room is approximately 8 X 18 feet.

Check In
  • Libby is always amazing! He room is beautiful and I love Brixton.
Can't wait to come back in her place.

  • We enjoyed our stay with Libby. She knew about festivals and (email hidden) to hang out at night.

  • Libby and Gary were both really lovely and made me feel very welcome and at ease immediately.
For some reason my eyes must have skipped over the bit about the stairs in the description when I booked. That could have been a big problem as I am recovering from an ACL injury. Fortunately, all went ok. But do know that there are 3 or 4 flights of stairs with 17 steps in each (yes, I counted).
Having my own bathroom was fantastic. It was sparkling clean. Shower, water pressure and temperature were all fabulous.
The room was lovely and peaceful. Exactly as it is presented in the photos.
The bus stop is VERY close, (email hidden) of buses running constantly towards Brixton, so never had to wait.
Brixton Village was great and I loved discovering a part of London previously unknown to me.
Lots of restaurants nearby and also a smallish Sainsbury's which was very handy.

  • We stayed with Libby and Gary for two nights and had an absolutely brilliant time.
The room itself was gorgeous with an exceedingly comfy bed and beautiful bathroom of our own to use, all exactly as advertised with lovely little personal touches to make us feel at home.
Gary and Libby themselves couldn't have been more welcoming if they tried, we could have stayed up all night putting the world to rights withthem and having a good laugh. It was brilliant for me as I wasn't able to go out on the town with my other half because of an audition, so it was lovely to be able to come back on my own and have a proper natter with them, where as I'd have been bored to tears in a hotel any probably ended up watching dross on the telly.
I would highly recommend staying with them, they're just lovely in every way, and great fun. We will definitely be back, and fingers crossed meeting up with Libby at Glastonbury and many times in the future.

  • Libby and her partner Gary are the perfect hosts. Waited around for us on a Friday evening when we were horribly late and took pity on us when arrived by offering us cold beer and wine - even offered to get us some fish and chips!
Place is exactly as described and spotlessly clean. It was perfect location for us as just a 20 min walk from Brixton tube station and we were there to watch a gig near there at Brixton Electric.
Gave us directions to some good restaurants and were not phased by the fact that were were going to come back in the early hours of the morning.
We will definitely book again if we need to stay close to Brixton.

  • Libby and Gary were both great hosts. they were both generous and hospitable during our stay. The accommodation was very good indeed with a nice bedroom and private bathroom.
We would certainly hope to stay there again and would not hesitate in recommending both them and their accommodation

  • Very nice and quiet place. Everything went smoothly. The appartment was newly decorated and clean. Libby was helpfull and nice. We didn't see her much though as she was working mostly when we were there. We can warmly recommend this place!

  • Libby (email hidden) and very very kind ( she prepared the breakfast every morning). The room is huge and amazing with a beautiful own bathroom. The flat is just 100 m from a bus stop and the market Sainsbury's.
    Highly recommended!

  • Great communication with Libby prior to our arrival including when our flight was delayed several hours. Check-in was a breeze. The apartment is stylish, clean and comfortable. Great location with frequent bus service to Brixton tube station only a few minutes away. Thanks Libby!

Hi I'm Libby, I like music, running, cinema, eating out & meeting friends....My favourite city is Barcelona & favourite beach holiday so far has been Aruba, I also love Cape Verde. My favourite music is Jazz/Blues, but I like all types & often go to live music events. Although Barcelona is my favourite city, living in London is pretty cool! I'm usually pretty busy but do read when I get a chance, crime & thrillers are my favouites but I've read some beautiful books that have moved me to tears. My favourite film has to be Pan's Labrynth, I also love Breakfast at Tiffany's & watch it every christmas..I prefer independent cinema & foreign language films. Most of my leisure time is spent running & meeting up with friends, there's nothing I enjoy more than a glass of wine in good company. My life motto is 'Live & let live'
