In North Boulder, this private mother in law suite has its own bathroom, sitting room and bedroom. A cat too! Access to a gorgeous refreshing private pool. Lots of light. Wi fi. Parking. Walking and biking distance to downtown and even closer to a grocery store, coffee place, restaurants -- 10 minute walk. Host is friendly and attentive but not over bearing. Helpful but encourages guests to be independent. You will love it!
Peaceful and quiet cul de sac tucked in behind the iris gardens but just minutes away by walking or bus or bike to the activity of restaurants, stores and coffee shops. Best of both worlds.
Bus is 4 blocks away at Broadway. 3 minute walk to the Rec Center.
My house is pleasant and homey. And Boulder is a full of fun things to do! An ideal get away all around!
I welcome international travelers. I have added -- a toaster oven, coffee maker, refrigerator -- and a t.v I have not figure out how to hook up to cable! Getting better all the time! Private and close to the best of Boulder.
We had a wonderful time - Ginger's home is beautiful with an amazing view, the neighborhood is quiet, and the pool was lots of fun during the hot summer days. The suite is comfortable, private, and well stocked. The location was also extremely convenient - easy biking or driving distance to the Pearl St mall and lots of other Boulder locations.
Ginger offered us excellent advice on food and things to do around town. She gave us lots of great conversation but we had plenty of space when we wanted it. We had an amazing trip, and I would highly recommend this location to anyone.
The reservation was canceled 62 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My husband & I went to CU and lived in Boulder for many years so were familiar with the city. We came to town for 1 week to attend a wedding, visit favorite spots and get together with friends. In looking for alternatives to hotels we happened on the airbnb website and began searching for accommodations. We were initially put-off by the first place we tried to book. The "host" was slow in responding to our questions and the encounter ended, after several wasted days, in frustration and with no room reserved.
Then we came across Ginger's posting of "Swimming pool with million dollar view". From our first correspondence with her, we could tell she was a quality individual. She answered all our questions promptly (within minutes) and thoroughly. She then went above and beyond by asking what she could do to make our stay more enjoyable by offering to fulfill any requests we might have.
We were warmly greeted upon arrival at Ginger's home, shown around and, pretty much, given free reign to make ourselves comfortable and encouraged to come and go as we pleased. Our "quarters" were lovely, as was her entire home and they were exactly as she described them on the airbnb website. We had to leave within a few hours or our arrival to attend wedding functions and Ginger couldn't have been more generous and easy-going. That easy-going give and take characterized our entire stay with her. We enjoyed each others company when time permitted but were very comfortable "doing our own thing" because of Ginger's gracious good nature. We didn't really have time to enjoy the pool but we drank in the view daily which was as breathtaking as she described. Thanks to Ginger's hospitality and Charlie's (Ginger's cat) funny personality we had a totally positive experience!!!
Such a brilliant experience...a piece of Heaven!
Greeted by Ginger, a warm lively lovely Soul, with fresh lemonade with strawberries and mint, fresh flowers flowing, organic shampoos, and breakfast requests to our taste.
High quality and beautiful decor, linens, ceramics and surroundings. The place is nestled in a quaint hollow...ever so quiet...no traffic noise. Loads of wildlife...deer in abundance and sweet chirping of the early morn birds. And, Charlie an elderly cat gracing one with his presence ever so rarely...as he likes his own space too!
The bedroom, sitting room with fold out couch, mini kitchen area and bathroom offered a great retreat. Beautifully decorated with great reading options. Ever so quiet...felt like in a place of your own, if so choose. WiFi...rapid and always worked well. Loved having availability of washer/dryer. And air conditioning worked brilliantly when, rarely, needed in hot August month. Great breeze flowed with open windows.
Overlooking an open field with the majestic view of the Flatirons.. a pool to dip into and bask in the sun...Divine! Floating in comfy chairs, relaxing and soaking up the truly GORGEOUS surroundings.
In the front...lovely porch or bench in yard to experience an entirely different view and feeling of this wonderful home and chicy North Boulder area. Such a convenient, quiet, beautiful location . This place is a TRUE find :)
Lived in Boulder 28 years and needed place for my son and I to (website hidden) we were leaving the state. Searched out many options and BEYOND grateful we found this extremely reasonable place to nestle in. Some of our finest weeks in Boulder, Chez Ginger!
We thank you Gingie for your offerings! An experience we will never forget.
