Vacation, rest, do business, while enjoying a comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bath detached house that sleeps up to 6. There are three bedrooms on the main floor, one with a queen bed, One with a double bed and one with two twin beds.
There is a large kitchen and off street parking for two cars.

  • Jerry is excellent communicator. He sent a guy to mow the lawn the next day on my request. The house in very good location. 10 mins to the national park. Couple mins to a fresh market store. Everything is close by. The house it self is very good compare to its reasonable price. We had very good stay in there!

  • Thank you, Jerry and Diahann! I enjoyed my stay in your Alexandria home. It's in a good location and has all the amenities of home. Much more relaxing, to me anyway, than staying in a hotel!

  • What a great place to stay! Jerry and Diahann were great communicators, checking in to make sure things were good. The house was adorable and comfortable for the six adults staying there; we felt safe and snug in all of the various weather we had (70's, snow, rain). It was great to open the blinds in the morning, listen and watch the birds while we were having coffee, and see the bus drive by. Most often that was about the only traffic on the street! We rented a car as we were taking a few day trips so ended up driving to Pentagon City to park and hop the Metro most days. The bus did go by on a regular schedule but we didn't end up using it. The house was in great proximity to everything that we wanted to do. We stocked up at Costco and ate most of our meals at the house. The laundry room and two bathrooms were a big bonus. All six of us were able to take hot showers every morning, we can't even do that at home! A big thank you to Jerry and Diahann for offering such a great place!

  • Jerry is a great host. He made our process simple and easy, although we had several restrictions: we had to book flights from Spain, we needed to fInd a day camp to enroll our kids and last to book the house. Diahann helped a lot with landing here and making sure all was going smooth. She even introduced us to the neighbours that have kids in the age of ours. House is as described!! No surprises at all. Confortable to host a family of 5. Well equiped. Located in a really convenient place and 15 minutos drive to several interesting places of Washington DC such as Georgetown or

  • Jerry's house was great. It had everything we needed. So conveniently located to public transportation. We didn't have a car and used the bus to the Metro everyday. There is also a free Trolly to all the shops and restaurants from the Metro station. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our stay!

  • Fantastic place to stay near Washington DC. Jerry´s home, while not fancy, is very comfortable and has all the necessary amenities, including lots of bath towels. Six of us stayed there for 6 days and enjoyed very much the experience. The house is located conveniently near the freeway and we could be in Washington DC within a half hour by car. The house has a great basement with lots of room for family activities. We ate several of our meals in the house and saved lots of money. It has a nice backyard although we did not take advantage of it. The air conditioning worked fine on some rather muggy days. If we have another family reunion in the area, this is the place that we will definitely stay. I heartily recommend this place.

  • We stayed at Jerry's place for 5 nights and had a pretty comfortable stay. Here are pros and cons for this vacation rental

    Pros:
-Very spacious, It has 3 BRs and a living room + a huge basement + office space and a lawn.
-Jerry is very quick in responding to queries related to the house.
-The house is very conveniently located, close to hwy 395 leading to downtown DC, metro station, grocery store and gas station

    Cons-
-The house and the furniture is a little old and hence the sound proofing between the rooms is not that good.

Overall it is a good rental for the price that it asks for.

  • Jerry was very accommodating and easy to work with. We enjoyed our week-long stay in his house. It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located for our activities in the DC area. We especially enjoyed the pretty daffodils and hyacinths that were blooming in the garden during our stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

  • My cousins and I stayed in Jerry's Lovely home for 5 full days. I wish it was more like 3 weeks. It was so homely we didn't want to leave. Everything was great. Jerry was very accessible when needed for simple questions. The community is very friendly and the house is close to literally everything you could want or need!!! When visiting the greater DC area there is no questions as to where i stay will stay!!! Thanks Jerry
