We certainly enjoyed Edinburgh from Neil’s apartment. Everything at reasonable walking distance; nice equipped kitchen. Large living room. Even though the building is next to a trainstation we didn’t experience any loud noises. There were a few things that caught our attention: the floors were making quit some noise, the beds were definitely not fit for tall Dutch people; but I don’t think small people would have enjoyed the quality of the beds either. The apartment could do with some extra blankets.

The host was very professional in terms of communication. The representative from the lettings company met us at the apartment on arrival and explained how it all worked. The apartment was huge and it fitted us (family of 5) perfectly. We were not on each other's space. The location is great you can walk to Princes street and the markets. It's also on a good route for buses, tram and train. It's also located in an area which various restaurants and very nice ones. We were slightly disturbed by the noisy trains from the station especially late at night and the early morning ones. Overall it was a great stay!

Wonderful location if you are looking for something which is within walking distance from the castle etc, literally a few minutes walk from Haymarket Station. For a group of 5, this was the perfect accommodation for us. Immaculately clean & comfortable - we'll definitely stay here again if in the area.

Neil was very accommodating with our arrival time, we were driving up from Yorkshire after school and so did not arrive until nearly 9.30pm. Parking was right outside the apartment block off the main road. The location was excellent for our visit to the Zoo and there is a supermarket just round the corner for supplies. The train station is immediately to the rear but you couldn't hear the trains in the apartment. The facilities were good, we had enough room to put up a travel cot in the main bedroom. The heating was really good (important in winter!). Excellent value, would definitely stay here again when visiting Edinburgh.

Neil was easily reached by phone upon arrival and instructions for check-in/out was clear and easy despite it being on a weekend. Only a short bus ride away from the city centre where all the buzz is - walking is possible too, unless you are carrying bagfuls of shopping, that is. Location is perfect for commuters (us) travelling from Haymarket train station, which is located right behind the apartment at a mere 5 min walk away. We stayed for 2 nights and the apartment accommodates the 6 of us comfortably with full kitchen facilities. Floorboard creaks but it doesn't bother us more than the shower does which I thought could be improved. Overall a good value and experience. Recommended.

Lovely flat in a nice neighbourhood 10 mins walk from Princess street. Two fully equipped bathrooms and kitchen, the floor made some noise but we liked to stay at the place.
