A cozy and bright room with a single bed. The apartment has a bathroom with shower and a full equipped kitchen with microwave, for your use.
This is a good and strategic accommodation for short and long stay period. Pigneto is a great and very lively area only 15min distance from Termini Central Station.
A vibrant farmer market, plenty of restaurants and bars.
Very well served by public transport.
We have also two classic bikes for you to use and to enjoy completely Rome.
The place is easy to reach from Termini Central Station: 7 stops with bus N.105 or the tram N. 5 and N.14 or just 20 min. walking distance.
We love good food. We speak Italian, but also French, English, Spanish and German.
You will be very welcome to Rome!
Fabio is a discrete, quiet and efficient host. The room and the flat are simple and essential but there's everything one may need for a short stay. Should I need a place in the area I would go back there.
Very kind and friendly host!
The location of the flat is also great, in a very lively and interesting neighbourhood of Rome. The only downside is that the room looks onto a street with bars, so can be quite noisy at night. So perfect if you are in Rome to party, a bit less if you need a good nights sleep to enjoy the day. Also consider that the flat is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so not great if you have any mobility issues.
A part from that, the flat is lovely and clean, with simple rooms, but with everything you need for a short stay in Rome.
Overall, good price for what is being offered.
I'll definitely keep this place in mind for my next trip!
I had a great experiencie at Pigneto with Kathe and Fabio. The apartment is comfortable and very well located on the neighborhood.
What I enjoyed more of Rome was my stay in Pigneto, the food, markets and night life is great.
Kate and Fabio are really nice and you can join them at their bar.
Fabio's appartment was a perfect place for my first week in Roma. It is clean, cool and secure, and has everything you need for cooking etc. Fabio is attentive and cares about making your stay a pleasant one - and he's a great guy! Kate is also a really nice person, and while they weren't staying in the apartment while I was there it was easy to catch up at their fantastic bar down the road. Fabio also dropped in to clean and make sure all was OK. It was also great to meet and hang out with the other people who were staying there at the same time, exchange stories, and find out more about Rome. And Pigneto itself is a BUZZ! Market below by day, bars, restaurants and live music on the street below until 3 am each night. Sure there is some noise, but up on the 3rd floor it becomes a nice gentle hum..it is a perfect location from which to see this wonderful city, and hardly a tourist in sight. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.
Grazie mille Fabio!
It was really great to be there at Fabio's place. I liked the neighborhood very much. Thanks for everything:-)
A pretty noisy street and the door on the rooms don't lock, but for the price, perfectly reasonable accommodation. I didn't see Fabio after he checked me in, but he made sure I had everything I needed including a towel which he hung on my door handle before I woke up the next day.
Fabio is a very nice person, friendly, helpful and welcoming. On my arrival he invited me to join the common lunch. The room is very good for one person, the bed is comfortable. The kitchen and the bathroom are equipped with everything you might need. The area is also convenient, quite near to Termini and the city center, with a plenty of supermarkets, pizzerias and a market.
Fabio and his girlfriend Kate gave me a real warm welcome. they have been very attentive about my needs and helpful in question of tips and orientation in rome.
the room and whole flat was very well prepared, inviting and clean.
fabio is very reliable and communicating with him took course uncomplicated.
that made my stay very comfortable and positive!
I would not make any other decision if i had to again.
pigneto (email hidden)ly, east london like neighborhood with a lot of nice restaurants and bars to see.
(if you have the honor i recommend a glass of umbrian red wine in fabios bar the mammut. loved it :) )
The booking process and my arrival both went very smoothly. I stayed with Kate and Fabio for two nights. The house is lovely and I really loved the super-friendly, artistic and laid-back atmosphere of the area (a good description of my hosts too: super-friendly, artistic and laid-back). The room is simple, but the bed was good and it is nice to look down the window and see the market (morning) and terraces filled with people (evening/night) below. If I have to mention a downside, the bus and tram from Termini to Pigneto, although very frequent, is always over-crowded, making the journey uncomfortable. However, it is a 15-minwalk from metro-stop Vittorio Emanuele, so not a big problem. Definitely a reccomendation!
You don't feel like a tourist with you stay at Fabio's place. Far away from the crowds (yet only 20 minutes away from Termini station by tram), his place felt like it was located in the true heart of Rome. Instead of dodging tourists and touts, you're walking past locals hanging out at cafes and vendors at street markets. It makes for a very real and local experience. Plus the Pigneto area has a hipster vibe so you see lots of cool people around, if you like that. Although he doesn't have wireless internet at his place, there're many cafes around where you can easily ask for usage of the wifi. On top of all this, Fabio and his girlfriend were really friendly and helpful, readily giving me advice on commuting and just talking about Rome in general. The room and the rest of the apartment (bathroom, kitchen) were clean and tidy and you'd very easily feel comfortable. I have already invited them to come visit Singapore one day, and I hope they will soon!
