Adorable studio cottage on a vineyard just minutes from the Russian River!! Absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend getaway. Spend your day tubing down the river (10 min walk), eating lunch in the town of Guerneville (4 min drive), exploring wine country (many wineries very close, only 3m to Korbel) and return to a giant welcoming covered front porch to enjoy a glass of wine.

Enjoy amazing views of the vineyard in your own fully stocked cottage built for two.

  • Rachel and Tim were great hosts - responsive, organized, and experienced at hosting guests. Their place is perfect for a couple - cozy, great porch for enjoying summer evenings, and well-equipped kitchen and grill. My boyfriend and I stayed there over 4th of July weekend and enjoyed hiking in nearby Armstrong Woods, eating great bbq at the Garden Grill, and playing mini-golf at the pretty amazing course a few minutes away. We didn't go down to the neighborhood beach but enjoyed going to town and hanging out around the cottage. Great hosts and perfect getaway spot for two!

  • We had a wonderful time at Rachel and Tim's cottage. They were very helpful and quick to respond to text/email. The cottage itself is adorable, just right for an affordable romantic getaway for two. My girlfriend loved the decor and I loved being able to walk to the river. The only thing I wish was that the deck faced the vineyard. Bottom line: had a great experience and would totally go back.

  • We had a great time in Rachel's cottage! Is as depicted in the pictures and is located in a nice area too! We would book with them again if we are lucky enough to go back visit any time soon :)

  • It was a very cute place! We had a perfect stay there.

  • The vineyard cottage is very quaint and comfortable. We especially loved the view and the home roasted coffee!!

The cottage is only a seven minute drive from the Westside Road, which has several fantastic wineries and is a lovely ride. We also loved dinner at Boon and breakfast biscuits at the Big Bottom Market in downtown Guerneville.

We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely go back again.

    Response from Rachel & Tim:

We're so sorry about that! We didn't realize the gardener was going to shut the water off, and I realize what an inconvenience that must have been. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come again - we'll make sure the water stays on!

  • This was such a perfect little place for two. We enjoyed the BBQ and ate every meal on the front deck. Watched Netflix in bed. Super close to town and the river, but all we heard was wildlife around us.

Great communication and the place was SUPER clean when we got there. Great hosts, can 't wait to visit again!

  • This cottage was super cozy. Just what a couple needs for a weekend getaway. They provided a nice manual of how to use the cottages amenities as well as information about the surrounding town. Don't expect a big space when you come here, but do expect a very nice place to stay. We took advantage of the front yard for sunning, and the awesome BBQ for a lovely surf and turf dinner.

  • This was the PERFECT little getaway. The house was amazingly cute and centrally located to the town and the river. Also the surroundings was a big bonus. Ive never slept so well. Rachel was also very helpful when we couldn't figure out how to connect to the wifi. I would come back every weekend if I could. Couldn't ask for more.

  • Really adorable and charming place in a great area - we truly loved our stay! We were bummed that the infamous coffee that we had read so much about wasn't there but we were grateful for the caribou that was left over for us :) Guerneville has won us over and we hope to return in the future! Thanks Tim and Rachel!

  • My girlfriend and I had a splendid weekend up at Rachel & Tim's place in Guerneville. The cottage is definitely compact but very cozy, and the kitchen had all the equipment I needed to prepare a couple of excellent meals. Their recommendations for places to eat in Guerneville, including Boon and the taco truck, were spot on.

As advertised it's a ten minute walk from the river and a four or five minute drive to downtown Guerneville.

Rachel: I am an avid traveler but always love coming home to SF. It is my goal to try every great SF restaurant and although that might be an undoable task, I will try! I am originally from Sonoma County so I will always have a soft spot for rolling vineyards and the Russian River. Five things I can't live without: my favorite people, good design of all kinds, Philz coffee, dancing, and travelling adventures. Tim: I moved to San Francisco from Indiana six years ago and I've never looked back. I love life in the city and escaping to the relaxing cottage in Guerneville. I may look mild-mannered, but someday I'll have a tattoo and drive a motorcycle. Five things I can't live without: my beautiful wife, Philz coffee (I didn't copy), IU basketball, my brothers, and my imaginary airplane.
