Wonderful stay at Rachel and Tim's. The road to reach the cottage was breathtaking. Being surrounded by all the redwoods was out of a storybook. The cottage is very cozy. The bed was very comfortable found it hard to leave every time. Perfect for two.
Rachel and Tim were very timely in their responses for approval, acknowledging travel dates, and letting me know that we would be arriving in the midst of a remodel (the place was still in fantastic condition) and offering to change my dates for free. The cottage was the perfect size for a romantic weekend for 2. Having a fully stocked (in terms of cooking utensils) kitchen to make our dinner after a full day of wine tasting was especially welcomed. The new deck in the back overlooking the vineward is great! All in all it was an awesome experience.
Had an awesome time at Rachel and Tim's place. Super peaceful. Perfect size place. Very clean. We had a great weekend getaway to Guerneville. Highly suggest this spot.
Great value for a cozy studio in the Russian River Valley. Lovely setting right on the vineyard with a views out of the back windows. Close to the town of Guerneville. Nice and quiet setting. It was a little too cold this time to use the front deck, but that's nice space too. We appreciated the high-speed WiFi too. One watch out is that the water has an off smell, especially the hot water. Possibly because they are on a well system. Not sure, but the hot water had a sulfur odor that kind of bothered us.
The place was great, very convenient location. The room is small but cozy and we really loved that the TV had a Roku box with Netflix and Pandora. We cooked for ourselves and the kitchen was well stocked with any equipment we needed. Beautiful view of a vineyard and the hills out the back window.
My husband and I spent Thanksgiving weekend in this lovely cottage. The cottage is in a great neighborhood, right next to a beautiful vineyard and with a lovely persimmon tree right off of the front patio. We found the cottage to be cozy, clean and well appointed. The kitchen has everything you need to make a nice meal. Rachel and Tim have left some nice recommendations for food / things to do in town, clear instructions on the house and lots of travel books on the area. We had such a great visit - thank you!
Me and my boyfriend had the BEST time at Rachel and Tim's cozy home. From the beautiful persimmon tree in the front yard to colorful vineyard in the back, the place was picturesque. We cooked a small Thanksgiving meal one of the days and Rachel and Tim had all the cooking supplies we needed. Messaging with them was a breeze and they even left a booklet for directions to the river and instructions for the TV and all the information you could ask for. We were so sad to leave this charming cottage but we can't wait to be back!

Rachel: I am an avid traveler but always love coming home to SF. It is my goal to try every great SF restaurant and although that might be an undoable task, I will try! I am originally from Sonoma County so I will always have a soft spot for rolling vineyards and the Russian River.
Five things I can't live without: my favorite people, good design of all kinds, Philz coffee, dancing, and travelling adventures.
Tim: I moved to San Francisco from Indiana six years ago and I've never looked back. I love life in the city and escaping to the relaxing cottage in Guerneville. I may look mild-mannered, but someday I'll have a tattoo and drive a motorcycle.
Five things I can't live without: my beautiful wife, Philz coffee (I didn't copy), IU basketball, my brothers, and my imaginary airplane.
