This apartment is a beautiful accomodation in an old building nestled in the historical Oporto.
Artfully renovated, it is ideal for individual guests or couples.
Boutique accomodation nestled in the historical heart of Oporto, between Praça da Liberdade and the baroque Clérigos Church, whose tower is the very symbol of Oporto.

It is perfected located with metro and buses lines just around the corner and two steps away from the S. Bento train station, a must-see for its stunning tile panels.

We met Maria, as arranged by email, in the narrow street outside the apartment building, then she guided us through the entry procedure making sure we knew how to secure the door. Once inside Maria made certain we knew where everything was, how appliances worked - and gave us some useful advice on places to eat. There were lots of brochures, etc. to look through to help us get the most out of our Porto experience. On the various maps Maria had helpfully located the apartment address so we could confidently go out to explore without getting hopelessly lost! It was only when she was quite sure that we would be OK, and we had her contact details, did Maria leave us to get on with it. Some of the buildings in the street are in need of restoration/renovation but don't be discouraged. Maria's apartment is lovely - the plasterwork on the ceiling is really quite impressive - and well-enough equipped for a self-catering short stay. There was tea, coffee and milk, and beer in the fridge to get us started. Its location is perfect for exploring the city, just around the corner from Praca de Liberdade. Metro stations and bus stops are close by but everywhere is walkable. Be warned, though, in Porto everywhere seems to be uphill from everywhere else! There are restaurants, cafes and bars all around so there is no excuse for going hungry. Some people might find street noise intrusive at night - Porto is a bustling city that doesn't sleep much - but that's a small price to pay for such a great place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay in the apartment of Maria. A good location close to metro and railwaystation. Very nice atmosphere. It was clean. Maria is a great host. Flexible check out was very convenient. Thanks Maria!
We had a very nice stay at Maria's apartment. It's right in the center of Porto, ideal for a couple. Rooms are conforms to pictures, great welcoming with advices and Porto guides.
Hat alles sehr gut und unkompliziert geklappt.
Die Heizung war an und eine Flasche Wein stand parat.
Maria is a nice host who also speaks French. Her flat is very central, perfect for visiting most of Porto by foot, and exactly as on the pictures. Don't hesitate!
