We´ve stayed at La Papessa for 9 days and had such a wonderful time. Its perfectly located at the heart of Rome: we reached almost everything by foot. The busstop with lines to almost everything you want to see is less than 50 steps away and the best Gelatie just around the corner.
Caterina and her team are so friendly, caring and obliging. The rooms are clean and in the best of taste. We slept wonderful and missed nothing. We will be back!
My sister and I had a great stay in Rome at La Papessa. Caterina, Marcella and Massimo are wonderful hosts.
The BnB is in a great location and easy to walk to all of the attractions. The Trevi Fountain is especially close by which allowed us to see the fountain at different times of day.
Massimo was kind enough to drop us off at the Coliseum and in the process gave us a wonderful hour long tour of the city. He has excellent knowledge of the history and art of Rome (and Italy).
The breakfast was good (and very convenient) and your cappuccino is made to order.
Via del Corso is a busy street - but just use good ear plugs, this location is too good to pass up! And my sister slept fine without ear plugs!
