This former farmhouse dating back to 1600, recently beautifully restored, is located in NOCE, quaint little village of Chianti. The area was recalled by Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy. Located in the heart of the Tuscany hills of Chianti, due to its location enjoys an excellent climate and healthy air in both summer and winter. Great wine and olive oil superb!
The apartment consists of 2 large bedrooms, one double and one triple room with double bed and single bed, there is also a living room with two sofas that can be transformed into many comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and .... panoramic view.
The furniture consists of original pieces chosen one by one from me around the Tuscan and colored notes handicraft Italian and international.
The swimming pool with a solarium area, has a splendid view over the valley and the Castle of Santa Maria Novella place just up the hill in front of and behind which the sun sets.
The AIA, the courtyard where once you beat the grain, you can enjoy breakfast or dinner thanks to the great barbecue where to cook grilled meat or vegetables to Tuscan style.
I can arrange on request Tuscan cooking classes.
The location is perfect, you can reach Florence 20/25 minutes, Siena 30 minutes, San Gimignano in 20 minutes, and cities like Lucca and Pisa within an hour.
Consider that we also have 2 other properties for rent, also published in these airbnb, so if your period is already booked please contact me also.
Thank you very much for the lovely stay at your place Suzanne. It was lovely meeting you and my family and I enjoyed thoroughly in such a lovely nice house and the morning scenery was amazing! A highly recommended stay to all!
Susanna and her husband Giorgio definitely made our 5 day Tuscan countryside visit more enjoyable! The apartment, which was above their home, was exactly as shown. It was cute, welcoming and perfect for us. We have no complaints at all, the price, location, view, amenities & our hosts... all of it, perfect! Upon arriving we met Margaret, their daughter and she showed us up to the apt and was very pleasant and let us know her parents would be back later in the evening. That was fine, we had to find a laundry mat, two weeks of travel with one more to go, we were in for a washing and folding filled Saturday night! We met Susanna and Giorgio the next morning, as we had a couple site seeing questions. Both were very helpful in guiding us to what we should check out and how to get there. And everything is so close, if it wasn't, you didn't notice because the country drive was amazing! I was even asked if I wanted to join a Canadian group coming through to learn Italian cooking and about wine. Of course I did! The group was a blast, nicknamed me Calgary and never once made me feel like an outsider! Nor did the tour guide, or the guest chef & Susanna kept popping in to see that I was enjoying myself. Giorgio even made sure the pool was clean for my husband and daughter incase they were bored while I was busy! It was chilly and I think our daughter jumped in twice and was out just as fast! The next day I really wanted to visit a winery, Susanna got online, showed me a couple that were her & Giorgio's favs & proceeded to call and book for us! We went to Montecchio and Antinori. She said we needed to see old school family farm and brand new large business & wasn't wrong, what a contrast and so amazing to see the likes and differences. All in all, our stay was amazing and we would definitely return. We were treated like family, how can we not come back?!
Susanna's and husband Giorgio have such a beautiful villa which is surrounded by a gorgeous property . We stayed at the villa for 8 days. The accommodations offers you such an amazing picturesque views of Tuscany valley. It was so wonderful to wake up to the beautiful sunrise overlooking olive trees and grape vineyards.. And the sunsets are amazing as well. The villa and the area is So relaxing and memorable...
The villa is actually located in Noce, a tiny rural village that's really just a small handful of houses off of a dirt road very close to Tavarnelle.. Which is a great little town that had a wonderful co-op, other stores, and some unique shopping as well. I even got my haircut by the local barber. Great local food, great local wine, and great warm and friendly hosts... What else can you ask for. We used the Villa to go to many many local villages and just had the time of our lives...
Thank you Susanna and Giorgio for being such great hosts..
We will be back .

Susanna's guest apartments were located in a beautiful part of Tuscany close to Sienna, Florence and San Giminiano,
Our bedroom had a glorious view over the vineyards and the rolling hills I the distance, Susanna cooked us a beautiful meal one night which we shered with other guests under the stars.
The pool and grounds were very nice and there were plenty of chairs and tables to sit at to admire the views.
We were given a bottle of the local wine on arrival.
We really enjoyed our stay our stay.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. A highlight was having dinner with all of the other guests. We found that the house is in a really good location and it is easy to drive to near by towns. This was a lovely place to come home to after spending the day in more touristy towns. The views are unbeatable. There is literally an amazing view from every room in the house. Susanna was very helpful and willing to answer any questions. I would recommend this place to others!
We stayed in this flat for a whole month with our 5-6 months old baby. Susanna an Giorgio was very helpful and serviceminded. The flat is better than the pictures, because the roof is very high, so the rooms feels very big. We made friends with Susanna and Giorgio and other guests, while still keeping our privacy. They do have a babybed, who was perfect for us travelling with plane.
We had a great holday, and will absolutely recommend this to others.
We were a family of 7 and stayed comfortably at Susanna and Giorgio's - both very gracious hosts. They were really helpful and cooked us a wonderful meal on the day we arrived. Location was great as it was tucked nicely in the countryside (stunning views, best toilet view ever), but not too far from Florence, Siena or other points of interest. If anything, there was only one toilet hence a little difficult when there were so many of us but otherwise everything was great.
We felt more like family than guests by the time we left Susanna and Giorgio's place. This stay was part of our honeymoon in Italy and their place was just as we hoped it would be -- it looks just like the photos posted, including the pristine pool. If you have a car (as you probably will), the location is especially convenient to all the most attractive tourist sites in Tuscany. Grazie mille Susanna, Giorgio, e famiglia!
We were two couples travelling together and stayed with Susanna and Giorgio for 5 nights in May. Susanna prepared a beautiful dinner on our first night and we used the country kitchen to cook for ourselves a few nights. Our apartment was clean and spacious, with beautiful views from every window. We did days trips to Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence and even Cinque Terre, so the location was perfect. We started our days with walk to Tarvanelle or through the coutryside, which were delightful.
Our hosts were very helpful, suggesting places to visit, supplying maps and making us feel like guests. I left my camera at the airbnb apartment in Rome and Susanna went above and beyond liaising with Sandro in Rome to have it couriered to Tuscany (an unusually difficult feat in Italy!). It was an expensive camera with special photos on it so we were very appreciative.
I highly recommend Susanna's apartment as a base for discovering Tuscany. Thanks for your help and care! Mandy, Michael, Dean and Linda.
