Ian was a great host and communicator. His home was easy to find and very comfortable. We cooked most of our meals in his home and we walked to the store for food. It's a short walk to public transportation into Dublin or a 20 min drive and a 5 min drive to the airport. Really comfortable, central home.

The house was well situated next to public transport in and out of town. The shower broke after two days and the hot water ran out frequently. The wifi only worked in two rooms of the house. The light in the kitchen did not work after two days.

Response from Ian:
I am very disappointed that Ashra did not contact me to let me know her issues as I felt there was good communication prior to her stay when her group requested a 6am check in that day rather than 4pm. There is a new heating system in the house and an electric shower with instant hot water once the switch is turned on. We had just changed wifi provider and discovered ourselves after Ashra's stay that signal was weak and we have attended to this. Unfortunately light bulbs can go at anytime and there are replacements left in the kitchen cupboard and I would have dropped in to replace. All in all a quick phone call from the guest would have had these issues sorted immediately. Ian

Ian was a fantastic and gracious host. He had tea and muffins and a few basics there for us upon arrival. Anytime I had questions Ian was very quick to respond. Our luggage was lost on the way to Dublin and Ian very kindly offered to drive us to the store where we were able to get a few things we needed until our luggage showed up. The house is cozy and very close to the bus stop. The location was perfect and very central. Thank you Ian was a pleasure meeting you.

Was made welcome and Ian was helpful with directions . Unfortunately house was not to the standard of cleanliness and repair that I would expect - toilet not flushing properly , furniture torn ( kitchen chairs), everything quite grimy

We didn't actually see Ian as we arrived very late and left very early but he kept in contact with us to make sure everything was ok. The cottage was a great base and not far from the city centre so was easy for us to get around. Was ideal for what we needed for the weekend.

The house was as stated in the description: well equiped and very close to the city by bus. As a familly we liked being able to cook and then relax in the sitting room. We also enjoyed the central heating (even if it was in May!). We didnt meet Ian but he made sure we were well settled.

Ian was incredibly welcoming. Although we didn't actually meet him, he made sure we were able to get into the cottage, and left us the muffins, tea and milk. The cottage was very cute and homely, exactly as described in the listing. When I asked about the linen fee I was expecting I was pleasantly surprised to be told there wasn't one. Ian has also been very kind and accommodating since; one of our group left behind a coat which Ian has found for us and posted back. I would definitely recommend Ian as a host and would use him again without a doubt!
