About This Listing
The low price reflects that we have some renovations going on.
This room has a queen size bed with a comfy comforter and mattress. There is a desk, night table, commode and large closet. The floor is carpeted.
There is plenty of lighting from 2 windows. One of them overlooks the Massawippi River. With blackout curtains and blinds, it's easy to have a restful night. There is an alarm clock, fan, and long dressing mirror.
There are shared complete bathrooms, dining room, livingroom, and kitchen. If you wish, the den offers a private area to read or watch TV.
We are located on College Street (rte. 108) which is a main road in the little town of Lennoxville. We are located near Bishop's University, and the small downtown of Lennoxville (a burough of Sherbrooke City). We are right between Reed Street and the green bridge to Bishop's University.
I have a miniature schnauzer named Nicky who is hypoallergenic and a cat named Tad. He mostly an outdoor cat and is not allowed in the guest rooms.
The den, bathroom, kitchen and laundry room are shared. There is a lovely wrap around veranda (still slightly under renovation) and backyard next to Massawippi River.
Interaction with Guests
I am generally around at the time of guests arrival.
We're right by the bus stop and bicycle paths.
Other Things to Note
Please note that we are still renovating our home. Our last guest's review was very vague. She wrote "One thing we hadn't expected is that her place is under renovation, inside and outside." Some may perceive that this means that there is a lot of dirt and noise. None of the unfinished renovations affect our guests. We used the whole month of May and June to do the dirty work. Please don't hesitate to ask questions about any concerns. Thank you!
Quiet after 11 p.m.
Don't feed my cat and dog any human food.
This B and B has everything we had! A stone's throw from Bishop's university which is what we wanted. Nadine was a great host and very accommodating. The view from our room was great also right along the river. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh blueberry pancakes were to die for!
Nadine and Luc was great hosts. We stayed at christmastime and had an icestorm. All electricity was gone for some hours in Lennoxville. Nadine offered us batterylamps. Luc helped us with cleaning our car for ice, - yes, they where both very, very helpfull. And Nadine makes some remarkable blueberry - pancakes. I can fully recommend them as hosts.
Thanks for everything, especially the good food! ;) I Enjoy my stay with you, hope I'll be back one day! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Un endroit sympathique, calme et paisible ou Nadine vous recevra en toute simplicité.
Bon séjour et bonne rencontre.
