It was a great pleasure to stay at Sarah's lovely house. The room is clean, cozy and bright. Sarah and her husband are pretty helpful and welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and pretty but also close to Adam Morgan, which is vibrant and fun. It's very close to subway station so it's pretty easy to get around.
I came to DC in February, while it was snowing all day long. The weather was very uneuropean, but I found a homely and warm place at Sarah’s and JT’s house, which welcomed me very friendly. My room was very cozy (as the entire house), the shelves were filled with classic books and I felt always free to take one of them and to read at the roof or whereever I wanted. Sarah insisted, that I should use the free space in the first floor for working, eating or realxing while watching TV.
I don’t need to describe the house and its rooms, because the pictures are close to reality.
Sarah and her husband were always there for me, when I needed their help regarding to DC, supermarkets, etc. I always found a symapthatic ear. Both took care of me and made me feel very comfortable.
Adams Morgan is a livable area with lots of bars, restaurants and cafés. For the first days Sarahs overview, which she wrote for her visitors, was very helpfull. It included the main spots in Adams Morgan and a summary of important information relating to he house. So it was very good to orientate.
The bus and train station is very near. On warm days I used to walk to the city.
I had a wonderful, memorable time at Sarah‘s and JT’s home and I would love to come back. Thank you for everything!
This was a great first airbnb experience. Warm welcoming hosts who gave me all the information about the area that I wanted. A comfortable room and house, and plenty of space to hang out. An easy walk to places to eat and the metro. I was very happy and would definitely come again.
Greatest hosts, nice house pet and close to Washington Hilton. The stay for me was perfect; I would absolutely stay again.
Sarah welcomed me very kindly and provided everything that she announced on the ad --- and more! The room was large, warm, clean and very welcoming, the house very spacious and she and Jim Tom were both very friendly when I met them around the house.
The fruits, snacks and wine upon arrival were a nice touch, and whoever likes dogs will fall in love with their retriever Buddy immediately! The bathroom is clean and large; it is shared but during the 3 days I stayed here I never had to wait.
The area is great: it's full of bars and restaurants, well connected with buses and metro and quite close to the city center. Sarah gives great advices on where to go and even provides a metro card to fill in with money.
I'm very happy about the experience and I won't think it twice to come back here when I'll be in DC again!
Great stay at Sarah's place. Convenient to metro and clean. I appreciated the recommendations for dining spots as well! Enjoyed wandering around DC and being able to retreat to my comfy room at Sarah's!
