Berlin was a great city to spend a holiday. Definitely needed more than the 3 days scheduled.
The apartment was great. Very spacious and comfortable! Fittings were unbelievable, and all the appliances worked flawlessly
However, I thought that Lee's communication leading up to our check in was poor. And he was quite unorganised in not having the apartment keys ready for us until 8pm having checked in at 12pm. He assured us that this was not the normal and we gave him the benefit of the doubt.
As in other reviews there was the washing drying in the bathroom again.
All in all a very good apartment and an enjoyable stay, even with the inconvenience on the first day.
Great location and nice apt, well-furbished. Great shower! Communication with Lee was straightforward and efficient but not particularly warm.
I would recommend this place for young adults since the stairs are so narrow, not suitable for families with kids or people with reduced mobility.
The apartment is nice. Brand new furniture and clean. Well located near underground and tram stops. The stairs to get from the living room to the bedroom are really narrow although you can access both levels from the outside. Overall its a good apartment but I wouldn't say its luxurious.
Lee's apartment is big and beautiful! I had the pleasure of meeting Lee, who let us in and showed us around. He was very, very nice and helpful to my friend and I, and suggested places for us to check out. The neighbourhood is lovely and it's easy to get around.
The only "negative" thing I feel I must mention is that the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes when we arrived, and towels + bedding were drying in the bathroom. This did not bother me whatsoever - but it might bother someone else. The wifi was also slightly problematic, working maybe 50% of the time. This is slightly frustrating when trying to navigate around a foreign country.
Despite that, I loved my stay at Lee's. I would not hesitate to come back!
Nice apartment in Friedrichshain, few minutes from tram and metro station. And slepiing was good an deep there. Lee was very hospatable and carefool, if u jave any questions don't hesitate to ask) Thanks for beautiful time Berlin.
Our stay in this apt was great. Easy access to public transport, walking distance to groceries, couple of good cafes and the East Gallery. About 15 min away from Mitte which is perfect since I didnt want to stay in the heart of the city with the noise and clisterf*ck. The apt is very comfortable and Lee left it clean and ready for us.

About the Host, Lee
Now that I have been living in Berlin for over 7 years whilst continuing to travel abroad a lot, I really can say this is one of the greatest cities to be in right now.
Music is my passion but the inspiration for what I do comes from the world around me - Berlin's diversity, raw culture, hidden depths and exciting vibe are truly gold dust when it comes to 'food for thought' and music production.
Enjoying the work of other musicians and artists in the city is also a passion of mine. If it is new and a little bit out of the ordinary I am there! Hanging out with friends in low key, friendly bars, restaurants and Cafés is also high on my 'free time' agenda and believe me, we are spoiled for choice here in Berlin.
I look forward to hosting you here in Germany's phenomenal capital city. And if you need any tips at all on where to go and what to do to 'live like a local' during your stay, that is part of the 'goes-without-saying-service' I offer as your host.
