My neighborhood is charming, full of diversity and has a lot to do! Close to Prospect Park, the botanical gardens and surrounded by beautiful brownstones you can't go wrong with a stroll up and down the streets. As well, I'm just next to three other great neighborhoods... If you like good food, nature, arts, music and sports, you will be happy here!
The main subway hub for Brooklyn is steps away from my door. There is also a subway stop on my block, as well as the bus and cabs.
Other Things to Note
Please note that I do travel for work and I'm sometimes out of the country. I may not have internet access at times during these periods, but I will reply as soon as possible. I do understand that your inquiry may be urgent and I'm sorry if I have not gotten back to you in time.
I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed in my home as much as I do! Please enjoy the outdoor space and even have a bbq while you stay. There are clean sheets and towels for you to use and a fully equipped kitchen.
I ask you to please only cook vegetarian food in the kitchen though meat may be used on the grill.
Please make sure to keep all the doors locked to the outside so we don't have any extra house-guests!
I had a great stay in Park Slope at Rebecca's place. The neighborhood is fun, a lot of great coffee shops and restaurants, and it's super close to every subway. Was a nice change staying outside of Manhattan. Rebecca was really nice.
We had a wonderful time in New York and we enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn. Rebecca's house was really authentic, the neighbourhoud (Park Slope) was very lively with lots of fun shops, restaurants and coffeebars. If you like vintagestores, you don't have to look further. The distance from her house to the nearest subway is only a 5 minute walk and you can be Down Town within 10 minutes. Our room was bright, large and clean. Rebecca was a good host. She made us feel very welcome and it felt like 'our' own home.
If you want to enjoy New York to the fullest, but if you also would like to stay in a nice and 'quiet' neighbourhood I would definately recommend this house.
Rebecca's house is beautiful, comfortable and quiet.
Location is excellent, a block away from bars & restaurant and 1 minute walk to Barclays Center and major subways.
She's really lovely and welcoming.
I highly reccomend her and def will be back!
Thank you for everything.

I'm a Canadian, from Vancouver living in New York for many years now. A professional Violinist, and performer. I love to get to know people and find out about their hidden talents! I've lived in many places around the world and love to travel for work and pleasure. I have a wonderful time visiting friends and going to see family in many countries, making more friendships along the way. I have a passion for good food and home cooked meals. I have regular guests that may enjoy the fruits of my labors with treats and full course meals. I am newly addicted to netflix and watch too many foreign films. I don't know why it took me so long to find this! I love New York especially because of all the people you meet from so many places all with amazing stories! I can't live without my dog, she is the apple of my eye, and at 13 is the best friend I could ask for.
