Traditional ground floor Victorian tenement flat in quiet street, located just over a mile east of city centre in the heart of Dennistoun. It's only suitable for two people happy to share a double futon, which is in the living room. Stylish property with high ceilings, laminate flooring and all mod cons, including wi fi, use of the kitchen, free street parking, good road/public transport links and close to amenities. We have three cats as well, so would prefer cat lovers.
Whilst we don't like the word 'rules' we would expect guests to keep noise to a minimum between 11 pm and 8 am. The room you will be staying in is our (and the cats' living room) which is why we charge so little. So, we would like a little access to it, especially early evening. However, when required you will be given complete privacy and we will not encroach on your space.
Very friendly host and spiritual discussions. Nice spacious quiet room. Well equipped kitchen. Many thanks!
Adrian and Laura were extremely kind and accommodating. I arrived later than expected and they were totally understanding. The room I stayed in was cosy, warm, clean, and comfortable. I slept so well. Thank you!!! P.s. Adorable kitty :)
It was my second time at Adrian's. He and his partner are lovely. I felt at home there. The comfy futon and a super hot shower were the highlights. Plus they let me use their ironing gear as I had an interview the next day. They left me to my own devices, so I could practice my lines without embarrassing anyone!
If you find a really beautiful and nice flat, you should book it here! The Victorian styled flat was really nice! I'm so glad that I stayed here :-) Adrian also really kind and nice person but the weak point is, living room was really cold. I hardly fall asleep :/ and the outside was quite noisy but that's out of control though, I think it'll be nicer if it wasn't cold. You can go bus stop by walk in 6 mins, supermarket for about 10 mins.
The house was really lovely and beautiful. I really appreciated to stay there with Adrian ad Laura.
The cats were really cute too. 3
I enjoyed my stay there :)
Adrian was brilliant with answering my emails, and providing directions to the house. The host and his partner Laura are both very kind and helpful people ( gave me advice, suggestions, a map, and even contacted a friend to try and answer my query), and Adrian's cards are fantastic, so do ask to see them :-) The house is clean, quiet and around 25 minutes walk to George Square, and 6 minutes to Bellgrove station. Additionally, if you a cat lover, you will enjoy the company of the feline members of the family. Despite severe weather conditions, I really enjoyed my stay in Glasgow.
Adrian and Laurie are great hosts, very nice and welcoming. The room is very nice too: clean, tidy and warm. I had a wonderful time in their house and I felt like at home. I highly reccomend them!
