We had a very pleasant stay at Natasha's place. First of all the area it relatively quiet and safe. It's a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket, and roughly 7 min to the subway. Also, there is practically a laundromat around every corner, so you don't have to worry about that.
Natasha is a very sweet and thoughtful host, who will help you with even the smallest problem.
So all in all a very positive experience, and I would definitely use Natasha again if the future ever brings it.
Natasha's apartment was very spacious, very clean and basically just a very good deal. The L train is about an eight minute walk and it takes you right into the heart of Manhattan. Bottom line: we enjoyed staying here.
We spent 10 days during Christmas at Natasha’s place. We were 5 guests and it was the first time we had rented an apartment. The apartment is in a residential area in Queens. It is in a friendly and secure area, close to supermarkets and small groceries. Natasha was a very helpful and kind host, she responded to everything we needed very quickly. The subway stop is five blocks away, about 10min walking and, once there, it takes you only 10-15 more min to Union Square, where you can transfer to many of the major lines of Manhattan. The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures and the kitchen is equiped enough to cook anything you want. A great place to stay.
Natasha and Boris have been great hosts during our stay in New York. They have always been very nice to us and helpful when we've had questions regarding any topics. The apartment is very large, especially per NYC standards! and it is in mint condition. If we come back to NYC we would not hesitate for a minute to come back and stay here. Thanks a lot Natasha & Boris!
We spent 12 days at Natasha’s place. Natasha was very helpful from the beginning. She answered all of our questions very quickly. The apartment in Queens is in a friendly and secure area. It is a residential neighborhood and you can find the neighbor sittings in front of their houses, chatting or looking for their children. Also when we came back late at night we felt safe. There are a lot of groceries and self-service laundries in the street and you can also find some restaurants not far away from the apartment. Few words about the apartment: the place is spacious. It has two large bedrooms (the one to the backyard has a lot of sun in the morning). There is a small living room which two sofas and a kitchen which is fully equipped and you can cook if you want. The bathroom is small, but everything works. There was always hot water and the toilet flushing worked also well. There is just one thing I want to mention: the walls are poorly soundproofed, so you will hear when your neighbors come home at night.
The subway stop is four blocks away, but there is also a bus which goes to the subway stop. The bus stop is around the corner. It takes you about 30 minutes to go to Manhattan (Union Square). I would definitely stay there again.
