Thanks and enjoy this lovely home in Columbia Heights, in Washington, DC!
The house is quite nice, even though the walls and floors are a bit beat up. The beds are very comfortable and wide, and each floor has it's own kitchen and breakfast table, which is great. Also, the large dinner table is great for large groups.
The upstairs bathroom shower is a bit on the useless side - since very little water comes out, and sometimes none at all.
The host was a bit inattentive; toilet paper ran out pretty quickly, and when we asked for more, we were told to make do with what we were given. Also, we were given a phone number for Mr. Chiazo (I assume, the administrator) who would only answer the phone after a few tries.
Finally, the cleaning service was a bit of a scam. We requested daily cleaning - for which we were charged roughly $200 dollars a day - and barely received cleaning at all. The cleaners only made the beds, the house was still dirty after they came, and all the towels were still wet and in the same place where we left them. After that we cancelled the second and third day of cleaning, although I probably wouldn't blame the owner.
In general, our stay was pretty good, the house is pretty and in a more or less central location (close to a subway station and lots of shops, but not close to the National Mall or museums), but the attention we received was sub standard.
Everything was perfect. Great house and location. Short walk to the metro. Shops are even closer. About 15min from the front door and you are in the heart of Washington. For 7 of us the house was perfect. You could be alone or we could be communal in the dinning room.
Great house, easy check in. As advertised, no issues what so ever. Would absolutely recomend to a friend.
I booked this beautiful and cozy residence for a group of 8 dancers and 1 concert pianist. Words can not express the amazing experience we had staying at this house. The beds were the ultimate in comfort and the kitchens were outfitted with great appliances. The host was always accessible and very accomodating. We were close to the Metro as well as supermarkets and stores. There were also great spaces for the group to enjoy movies, conversations and and excellent wi fi connectivity. If we ever secure another performance engagement in Washington DC, we will try our best to return to this location.

This 3 story brownstone was perfect for a weekend getaway for an 11 member girls trip! Enough beds and bathrooms for everyone. The spaciousness allowed us each to have our own personal time and reconvene for group meals and games in the dining area on the 2nd floor. The location allowed us easy access via Uber to the sites of the city. Like any major city, parking can be an issue, but with the 2 passes we received and parking lots around the corner, we fared well for the weekend. All the ladies loved the brownstone and we wouldn't change a thing. If we visit DC again for our annual girls trip, this will definitely be our home away from home!
Great house for a group, everyone can be together and still feel like they have their own space. It is lacking a group gathering area with couches, but we made due :) Very comfortable beds (even the bunk beds!!)
Seven other ladies and I stayed at this beautiful brownstone in the historic neighborhood of Columbia Heights while in DC for the National Association of School Psychologists annual convention. The accommodations were great and just as advertised. We enjoyed having the option to cook for ourselves during our stay, as well as going out to any of a number of diverse and tasty restaurants in the neighborhood. It was very convenient traveling from the house by metro or bus -- the nearest station is a 5-minute walk away. The owner was clear and cordial in communications and appropriately responsive. Any one of us would definitely book this house for a large group again.
