Comfortable spacey and clean bedroom (no pets no smoking home), convenient and great for short-term stay. Host is ready to help with your questions and accommodate you as best as possible.
New update: there are no pets any more in this listed property, so cats allergic people are welcome to consider staying here :)
****Location and Transportation****
The location is great!
2-3 minutes walk to #7 train 46th ST station.
15-20 min to Midtown Manhattan by train. 10 min by car.
#7 train goes directly to Grand Central (United Nations) and Time Square.
****Restaurants, Grocery stores and Facilities****
There is large 24 hours food market within 2 blocks, and small convenient store downstairs. Two laundromats within one block, and lots of restaurants (Japanese, Thai, Irish, Chinese, burger place) and bars are within walking distance.
A big Duane Reade branch is nearby within 1.5 blocks across the street, a Rite Aid store is within 2 blocks also.
****The bedroom you will have****
The apartment is a three bedroom apartment and you will have your own bedroom as shown in the picture. The 3 BR apartment is on the 5th floor walk up. It is always kept clean, with cleaning service called once a week. There is quite a living room of large space, a full kitchen and speedy wifi to share. One bedroom faces southeast, one bedroom faces northeast, and one faces the south, so there is good sunshine, especially in the morning.
This room you will have is the one faces the south, and it is well furnished. You will have a comfortable full size bed, a desk, one (you can take more from the living room if you want) chairs, a side table, and a closet with many clothes hangers. Meanwhile, clean guest towel(s), simple shampoo and soap will be provided too.
About AIR CONDITIONING:
There is one 8000 BTU window AC in the living room, other than this AC, there are two electric fans equipped in each of the bedroom to ventilate the air. So generally it is cold / cool in the living room, but normal temperature in the bedrooms.
****Neighborhood and safety****
The building locates in a quiet area, with a small garden downstairs. The neighborhood is very friendly, population is quite mixed, Americans, Napoleons, Mexicans, Korean, and Greeks. It is very safe according to the criminal rate statistics, you can search NYtimes criminal map, ((website hidden)), and zoom into my area. I would say it is rather low criminal rate (definitely not zero though) compared majority of other neighborhoods in NYC.
****Checkin and checkout****
Regular check in time 6:00pm, but it is not strict. During the weekdays, you can pick up the keys in Midtown Manhattan anytime between 12:00pm - 4:30pm. During weekends, it is more flexible, since I might be staying in and would able to set up the room and check you in. Whichever way, CONTACT me first, tell me about your ETA and we can discuss.
This is a no pet, no smoking home. There is a cleaning service called on a weekly basis to do thorough and deep cleaning in the apartment. So a certain cleaning fee is applied to this listing.
Welcome to stay! And enjoy NYC:)
Kitchen, bathroom, living room and their own private bedroom.
Interaction with Guests
Host is ready to help with all your questions and happy to provide recommendations about sightseeing and restaurants in the city.
Family oriented, very safe, with many restaurants that you can choose from.
Yes, 7 train is right one and half blocks away, 2-3 minutes walk. Several bus lines are nearby too.
Be clean, and respectful.
It is very important to clean the bathroom and the kitchen after use, because both me and my roommate are very clean, and we try hard to keep the public area clean and nice. And the kitchen and the bathroom are SOOOO important as a part of a clean apartment!!
We hope everyone can help maintain the cleaness!!
Turn off the light and electric fan is helpful for me, and also good for the earth :) I will appreciate if you pay attention to save a little bit of the energy when you are able to :)
I will be around to help :) and I would love to hang out nearby for dinner and bars, and etc. Don't hesitate to ask me for suggestions and any questions!!
Yuki made my girlfriend and I feel very welcome, the apartment is in a convenient location only a couple minutes walk from the train. I would recommend Yuki's place to everyone!
Yuki was amazing!
The apartment was as described, Yuki was super friendly and flexible. She gave us total freedom of using the apartment. She also recomended us places to go and gave us a couple of tips about the near by groceries and stuff like that.
All in all, I am totaly staying with Yuki next time in NYC!
Great communication! Host was both considerate and responsible, solved many problems for me as a new comer to NYC. The apartment is conveniently located among Metro, restaurants, grocery stores, banks, laundromats, etc. Everything I needed for living is within 5 mins walk. The air conditioner is a little weak during the hot days. But overall a very comfortable place to stay. Strongly recommended!
Yuki was a wonderful host. We had our own room and was undisturbed the entire four days we were there. She's very flexible and will work with your schedule. The place is a quick walk to the metro station, which you can take towards Grand Central or Times Square.
Thank you Yuki for hosting me. Yuki provided me with everything I needed. She's very helpful. I like the apartment location. It's near to stores and a train station.

I am a young professional from the other side of the world, but having a good life in NYC. I love swimming, skiing and travel to places that are by the water (river, lakes, seaside...). I enjoy my life, enjoy exploring the city and meeting people.
