Greenhaven sits on the highest mountain on our working coffee farm. It is a new structure: solar lighting and harvested rain, plus fresh mountain spring (URL HIDDEN) offers peace, quiet, privacy and views for nature lovers, as well as garden herbs/veggies. Relax, sleep, read, write, gaze at the stars, whatever will soothe and help you slow down.Plan to arrive in the afternoon to enjoy Mother Nature's gifts. If you REALLY want to wind down give yourself at least 2-3 nights.

The space
Completely "off the grid" Greenhaven is a refreshing refuge for relaxation amidst heirloom coffee fields of Sandra Farms. There are trails for nature study and physical exercise. Our working farm produces specialty coffee, cacao beans for our Apasionados(An Exquisite Love Affair) dark chocolate with our coffee in them, citrus and other tropical fruits in an ecologically friendly manner. We live on the 225 acre plantation and welcome our guests personally. The farm is located at one of the highest points of Puerto Rico's central cordillera, with lake and ocean views. Watch stars at night, or see the lights of planes landing at faraway airport. There are 2 BR, a great room, kitchen, bath, front porch and back balconyl

Where you’ll be

Adjuntas, Puerto Rico

You will love our unique climate, average annual temperature 72F, the green mountains, tranquility, and friendly neighbors! Nights are much cooler, especially November-March.The "neighborhood" is rural with coffee farming/agriculture being the activity of most of us. This is the way many people lived years ago, with some modern conveniences added.

During your stay

We welcome guests and attend to their needs during their stay. We are fully tri-lingual(English, Spanish, and Carmelo's German). Our home is just down the hill from Green Haven, where you will be staying. Cell phone signal is strong, and guests have access to us and our staff at all times, but we respect your privacy. forgottenforestpr.com now surrounds Green Haven with thousands of Typica de Puerto Rico coffee trees that need tending. Some time we may need to work those fields so may inconvenience you, but will alert you to it. Gracias.
