Charming apartment in the medieval tower of 1200 belonged to the Friars of the Incontro. Located in the heart of Florence, Via dell'Anguillara, next to the house of Michelangelo Buonarroti and 50 meters from Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria at 150. The apartment is newly renovated and refurbished to the floor 4. consists of entrance hallway, lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom with shower and spacious and comfortable bedroom. Inside the master bedroom is a comfortable sofa bed and in the living room the sofa converts into a bed suitable for children though. the apartment is equipped with stereo, tv, wifi internet, washing machine, air-conditioned rooms, ceiling fans in living room, microwave, large fridge, stove etc etc anything that can serve for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Needless to say that once you leave the house in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

I make you see, as written in the description, that the beds are distributed as follows :
master bedroom with double bed and comfortable sofa-bed, a sofa bed in the living room Ikea model Solsta suitable for children .
this Ikea sofa bed when opened becomes a kind of Japanese futon with large pillows on the floor. before proceeding please ceck on the web that this solution will be fine for you.
It was easy to find the apartment, and the downstairs neighbor was available when we arrived (a little early) to give us the keys. Guido himself came up a few minutes later to check in. The location was great - very close to everything. But the building itself is a little run down and there was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom/kitchen area that got only slightly better by opening the bathroom window. The air conditioning cooled the bedroom slightly, but the main living space remained quite warm. There was a washing machine, but it smelled musty so we didn't use it. The convertible beds were ok for a night or two for young kids, but wouldn't be good for longer. Overall, I would say this a acceptable budget accommodation in a good location. But not something to write home about.
after more than 100 positive reviews we had to get Mrs. Valerie, which she found, in his opinion, the worst faults. unfortunately for her we immediately upon his arrival, knew what kind of person she was. the first thing she did not like was too much light coming through the windows in the bedroom! then the towels were too big and then again on television because she did not see the channels of your country!
however, the machine is fully functional and does not smell musty.
and even in the bathroom there is no bad smell!
as always we rent our apartment trying to offer the best possible service.
we do not want to have guests like Ms. valerie but unfortunately sometimes it happens!
My fiancée and I had a great time staying at Guido's apartment. It had a whole lot of character and was in a wonderful location. Guido was extremely helpful and flexible with us as we weren't exactly sure what time we would arrive to Florence. I would not hesitate at all to recommend this place.

Very easy to deal with Guido, answered all questions and was ready to help.
Through email communication, Guido answered our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner. While we didn't meet him at check-in, we were lucky to retrieve the keys from the downstairs neighbor (who made sure we knew what the 4th floor meant!) at a late hour. Just as shown in the pictures, the apartment is spacious and clean; the bed is comfortable. Not only is the location by the historic church, the next closest site is the Piazza della Signoria. It does get noisy at night (we learned from the taxi driver that the area is popular with college students), but ear plugs help fix the problem! There is no elevator, so be prepared if you have heavy baggage.
Hello all!! Our stay in Guido's apartment was perfect! Location couldn’t be better, only 50 m from Santa Croce, 15-20 min walk from the train station. The apartment looks just like the pictures posted and its very spacious compared to the small places we have been in during our trip. It has everything you need if you want to cook.
It was very clean, which was what it really mattered to me.. I honestly cannot complain about anything..
Guido was very kind, he recommended some places to have dinner and a spectacular sandwich place! I bet every tourist in Florence has tried those sandwiches... :)
Thank you very much Guido! We had a wonderful time in Firenze!
Check in was very easy. Got the keys from the downstairs neighbor. The apartment is up 5 flights of stairs (perfect for us, but may be harder for others). Location is very nice and central. Apartment is large and nice. Wifi worked great. Bathroom was large. Only drawback is that the road can be quite noisy at night with people.
The apartment was in a great location. It had everything that we needed. It was very easy to communicate with Guido. Unfortunately we had to leave early for an emergency but would love to stay there again the next time we visit.
L'appartement est agréable , assez vaste et très bien équipé.Guido est accueillant et reste joignable en cas de soucis
L'emplacement est parfait ,proche de tout et dans un quartier très vivant.
I was told about the apartment by a long-term friend who had stayed there. He told me the location was great for seeing historic Firenze. He was so right.
After the apartment was booked through AirBnB, Guido personally responded to my questions & the apartment was quite adequate for our visit.
Because we had an early morning plane flight out, Guido made arrangements for a taxi to pick us up & it was there & on time.
Any potential guest should be aware that the apartment is on the fourth floor, five levels above the street, almost 80 steps up, which could be difficult for some travelers, especially those with lots of heavy luggage. It was not a great problem for us because we travel fairly light.
All things considered, our stay in the tower apartment at Santa Croce was a good experience.
This apartment is perfectly located between Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria - a 5-10 minute walk from basically everything in Florence. The apartment was exactly what it looked like in the photos, it was spacious, it was clean, and we had no problems with anything. It was great to get to use the kitchen to store some food, and to wash our clothes. We didn't get a chance to meet Guido, but Mr. Lombardi downstairs gave us our keys and was very nice. Everything went well, and I would highly recommend this place.
