Other Things to Note
The apartment is really in the heart of ancient Rome on a gable nineteenth Chapel of "Mater Boni Consilii".
I hope that my clients have respect and care of the apartment and to me communicate every difficulty or problem during your stay.
It was great, Francesca was very helpful and gave us a folder of recommendations and maps of the city which were very helpful!
This was perfect for us. Francesca was there when we arrived and showed us round and gave us a lot of information. The apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. It is really unusual, above a doorway and opposite a wall from antiquity. The restaurant next door was really nice, as were the other ones we tried that she recommended.
All the places we wanted to visit were within easy walking distance, which is a big bonus. We weren't there long enough to see everything, so if we return to Rome we will happily stay with Francesca again.
Francesca's apt was perfect. The location was great and the apt was cozy and lovely. The bed was comfortable and amenities were well-prepared. And Francesca was super helpful in providing info about Rome. We highly recommend Francesca's apt :)
Chic & romantique!!
Where to start? This was fantastic from start to finish. The apartment is in an amazing location, and only took me 15 minutes to walk to places like the Spanish Steps, 10 minutes to the Colosseum and 5 minutes to the Roman Forum.
Francesca was so friendly and helpful - I honestly think you could turn up with no plans at all and she would be able to put together an itinerary for you in ten minutes! The flat itself was lovely. The main living/sleeping area is larger than the pictures make it appear, and the bathroom is on par with any good (website hidden) facilities are limited, but it would be possible to cook a hot meal from scratch if you so desired (but why? Rome is full of incredible cheap food!). I felt totally safe due to having 2 lockable doors between me and the street (did I mention the street is the most adorable authentic little cobblestone alley - you'll feel like you're on a film set).
One thing to note - cars do drive quite fast on the cobbles outside, and if you're a light sleeper like me you may find it a little loud. Having said that I would go back in a heartbeat, all in all an amazing experience.
It was one of the best hosting I've had in Europe. I am very grateful to Francesca for everything that happened. Thanks again.
