The space

The apartment is located in the heart of the Imperial Forums in a minute walk from the catwalk of Carleo field with direct and privileged overlooking the excavations of the Roman Forum and the Trajan Markets. UNIQUE walk in the archaeological park.
In the historical center, in the first district of Rome Monti, the charming apartment with separate entrance, exclusive and private overlooking the grand massive wall of Forum of Augustus is located on the Via Tor Dè Conti, in the nineteenth-century tympanum of the Chapel of the "Mater Boni Consilii" ( 1834), the facade is very simple and there are also many votive offerings, thanks to people who have obtained the requests for help made to the Madonna.
The Via di Tor Dè Conti named after neighboring Torre dei Conti and is characterized by the imposing massive wall of the Forum of Augustus, on which there are the Church of the Annunciation, the wonderful overlooking the Arch of Pantani which currently offers an impressive and characteristic view on the Forum and the House of the Knights of Rhodes. In Piazza del Grillo opens to the public the Via Alexandrina, direct and privileged overlooking the excavations of the Roman Forum and the Trajan's Market, a unique walk in the world that runs in the middle of the Forum of Augustus and Trajan directly overlooking the archaeological area and the Via Dei Fori Imperiali and the Coliseum up to Piazza Venezia.
Via Tor Dè Conti is limited to the area safe and quiet city traffic, a few minutes walk leads to the Imperial Forum, the Campidoglio, Piazza Venezia and the Quirinale, from which you can admire one of the most beautiful views of the city.
From the left the apartment in 5 minutes walk you can reach the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Domus Aurea, the Circus Maximus and the Mouth of Truth. A 15-minute walk from the apartment you reach the Aventine definitely chin known by foreigners but worthy of attention because the area offers the wonderful Orange Garden one of the most beautiful views of Rome, and where there are also the Pyramid and the Baths of Caracalla.
Right from the apartment is a 10-minute walk in the Villa Borghese, the Via Veneto (the sweet life), the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, the Pincio with its wonderful view of the eternal city, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Campo dei Fiori. Trastevere, the most impressive class district of Rome is a 20-minute walk while the Vatican Museums, St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo can be reached with only 6 clipping of a meter, or 30-minute walk on foot.
The apartment is well connected by public transport, in 15 minutes walking you reach the station of Termini train which is perfectly connected with the airport of Fiumicino and Ciampino and in 5 minutes walk you reach the metro Cavour or Colosseum.
In the immediate vicinity particularly popular and increasingly popular is the area between Via Nazionale and Via Cavour (Via Baccina, Via Madonna dei Monti, Via Panisperna, Via dei Serpenti, Via del Boschetto), which through the narrow streets, craft workshops, shops seem to retain the characteristics of nineteenth-century Rome. The dense area with restaurants, bars, clubs, gravity on Piazzetta della Madonna dei Monti near the homonymous church.
The apartment is a veritable jewel box of beautifully furnished with a large double bed (king size), fitted wardrobes, fireplace, air conditioning, TV, wireless internet, kitchenette with fridge, coffee machine with waffles, hot plates, microwave, toaster electric, electric kettle, plates, glasses, utensils, iron with ironing boards, first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, heating, tourist maps and guides.
The large bathroom with towels, soap and hairdryer. In the immediate vicinity you can find the laundry.
The apartment is quaint, very comfortable and also offers a lovely outdoor area with table and chairs to enjoy a good glass of wine in the heart of the eternal city, a jewel that shines in the Monti :)

The place was simply AMAZING. You cannot get a better location. We were three blocks from the Colosseum, across the street from a huge museum that had the unknown soldier. Tons of restaurants, bars, etc. within walking distance. There is a small store around the corner for water, wine, and snacks. Also a few blocks up the road is a pharmacy. Stay away from tourist areas to find good food. There are also quite a few street peddlers trying to sell items so beware. Overall you cannot stay in a better place for the price. The facility has two doors to enter that require a key to enter and exit. You have complete privacy. I would recommend using the Roman Guy website for tours of the Colossuem and Vatican. The Vatican is a MUST SEE. It is a lot of walking so be prepared. You can walk to every place in Rome to the exception of the Vatican. Within walking distance of her place is Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Roman Ghetto, and more. All are within 1-3 miles of her home. Scooters are also an option but I would not recommend due to the crazy drivers in Rome. Get a bike if you have too. Also, tons of fountains to refill your water bottles. Overall it was a great experience. PS: take cash, a lot of places hate or won't take card. Use Uber as well. Taxis can be a pain.

Had an absolutely amazing stay. The apartment was exactly as described. Cute, little cottage type apartment right next to the Roman Forum and close to Vittoriano. The apartment had everything you needed and was cool and comfortable in the 30+ degree weather we had. It was clean and well stocked including Nespresso coffee, cold water in the fridge and a welcome bottle of wine!! Francesca was amazing. Very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. There are loads of maps and lists of restaurants to go to all over Rome and Francesca gives you here favourites! Overall, we will be back to Rome soon and would definitely stay here again!!!

Francesca's apartment is in a fantastic location, a perfect base for exploring the city by day or night!! We didn't have long in Rome, so it was great to be able to see the sights on our doorstep and have time to relax, eat and drink too! Francesca met us at the apartment even though our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until near midnight! The apartment is really well equipped, with maps of the city and suggestions of Restaurants too. The bed is comfortable and the air con was certainly welcome ! Would stay again!

I overall had a good time staying at Francesca's place. It is in a nice location close to the Colesseum and some neat shops/restaurants. Definitely walkable to central Rome and I believe this is a huge strength of this apartment. The place itself was accommodating and Francesca did a fine job explaining to me places I should visit. Her apartment is clean and well-organized. The only issue I had during my stay was that the wifi was not working at all and it made my stay more difficult. I believe if it were not for this issue, my stay would have been fantastic.

The apartment was small, but functional. There was construction going on during the days of our stay. Also, the street in front of the apartment was very loud with consistent traffic noise.

I booked Francesca's apartment for my partners birthday trip to Rome. Being his first time in Italy, I wanted somewhere comfortable and central. This apartment exceeded all expectations! It was in the perfect location, about 2 minutes from Metro stops and literally sat next to ruins of the Roman forum. The Colosseum was around the corner. We were spoilt for choice with many amazing restaurants and bars within a 2 minute walk. Francesca was lovely - very helpful and provided us with a list of recommendations and plenty of tour books and maps. She also provided us with a bottle of wine, and plenty of tea, coffee and some toast with Nutella on arrival. The apartment itself was clean, and we had all that we needed. One of the most memorable and comfortable Airbnb stays I've had! Thank you again!

My mom and I stayed here for our quick trip to Rome. It was perfect and Francesca was very accommodating. I literally emailed her when I was on the plane headed to Rome and she responded right away. Before we even took off she had confirmed our place to stay and even set us up with a ride from the airport. She let us drop our bags off while we grabbed a quick lunch and she finished tidying up for our early check-in. The place was super clean and even stocked with some snacks, water and champagne! It's also in a great location - like 3 blocks away from the colosseum and hop on hop off busses. And, it's a short walk (maybe 15 minutes) to Trevi fountain and Pantheon. Oh and for the ladies, the shower pressure was great too. :) The pillows aren't the best, but it wouldn't stop me from staying here again. She also set up a ride for us back to the airport. Thanks to Francesca's place and help, this was a perfect, worry free trip to Roma.
