There is no better apartment to call home base if you're heading to see an epic event at Soldier Field or attending a conference at the McCormick Center.
Treat yourself right when you visit Chicago and stay in an apartment right in the heart of the city - don't waste your trip by having excessive commuting times! The loft is just three blocks from Grant Park and a block west of Lake Michigan.
Soldier Field - super close. McCormick Center - super close. My apartment is a stone's throw from Museum Row, where you'll find the famed Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium, and the Field Museum (you know, the one with giant dinosaur skeleton). There is easy access to multiple bus and El train lines for exploring other parts of the city.
The loft is a warm, inviting home with 14-foot wooden ceilings. I own the 2 bedroom apartment, and the big room is available for rent.
The South Loop neighborhood is peaceful, but it’s also hip. There are several choices of restaurants nearby (Sushi, sports bars, tapas, Italian, Mexican, etc.).

Treat my house as if it were your own (a modification of the Golden Rule!)
Gorgeous apartment in a great location to grant park and lollapalooza. Also really accessible to downtown with easy public transport links. Louis was a great host, super helpful and approachable. Louis also sends guests a great email with recommendations for your time in chigaco which was fab. I would definitely recommend to a friend and hope to come back soon!
Louis was a wonderful host! His place was immaculate and full of character - as is he - with paintings and pictures of his travels from around the world. I would definitely stay again!
My experience was wonderful! The place, location and host was exactly what I expected. The loft was very convinient to all the major attractions and close to my conference @ Mccormick center. Louis is an incredible and interesting host, he gave me lots of suggestions for the city and was very accomodating.
Louis is a great host. The place is clean and modern. It's a shared bathroom but I didn't mind. Very close to the McCormick Place for those of you going to conventions in Chicago. 5 min walk.
Staying at Louis's apartment is exactly how I like my life organized. Everything is at my fingertips and nothing is complicated in terms of keeping my flow going. Louis had very precise instructions on where to grab the keys and how to get in. His apartment is as it looks in the photos and very tidy. On top of it I love the fact there are no shoes allowed on throughout the apartment. Can't stand walking in my socks and the bottoms are black after a few minutes, but not the case here. The bed was great! I work late a lot so when I get to my Airbnb home for a night of great rest I need the best sleep. Very comfortable and cozy. towels were in my room so there were no questions of where or which ones do I use. Overall Louis's apartment has everything I need right at my fingertips and has the added benefit of a safe apartment building with secured entries.
I would definitely stay again!
grreat location near convention center, museums, lake front and soldier field (all walking distance), louis and his cool loft were very wonderful and very accomodating.

I am laid back and easygoing. At the same time, I'm organized and communicative when helping my house guests (don't just take my word for it - check out the reviews).
I have traveled the world, from Nepal to Italy to Brazil, and enjoy talking about different cultures, perspectives, and experiences. There's so much to see and do out there!
Professionally, I am a management consultant who was a Peace Corps volunteer and worked on Wall Street in a former life.
