Myself and my husband John are very accommodating. We have welcomed and hosted students into our home of all nationalities and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have 2 teenage daughters who speak fluent gaelic (native Irish language) and also have a great interest in German language. My husband is a landscape gardener and I am a mature student and part-time tutor who loves to cook and look after people :) We're a happy go lucky family.

I didn't meet Aisling as she was on holiday but I met her husband, John and briefly met their daughter. I arrived and was immediately welcomed in. The bed was fine for the night and I was cooked a nice and full breakfast in the morning - great way to start the day.
John was very helpful in giving directions to where I needed to go and made sure I had change for the bus. It was a great place to stay when I needed a stopover after my long flight.
Very nice, would stay again.
Great experience!! I was in Ireland for 2 nights. Aisling's family welcomed me very kindly. They accommodated to an really early check-in due to my early flight, and also were super helpful while I was trying to figure out how I get around with my tours. They generously gave me breakfast each day, and even packed my lunch for my all day tour. If you are staying in Dublin, don't hesitate to book this airbnb. It's only 1 bus ride away from central Dublin (10min ride).
I have already submitted a review for this location.
I returned to this location at the end of my trip. Aisling was away, as I knew she would be but her husband cooked me a good breakfast and was pleasant.
Incredible family, don't even hesitate staying here. Easy bus into town even my 65 yo mother figured it out. Amazing breakfast, comfy beds and good bathroom with a great shower. We only wished we could have stayed longer.
Aisling & John's home was my first air bnb experience; and it was wonderful. They are both incredibly nice people, welcoming me to their home before I even arrived. Aisling corresponded with me throughout the day to make sure I was doing okay and didn't have any questions or problems. She gave me clear instructions on which bus to take (214) and how much it would cost (2.80€ one way). When I got off one bus stop too early, (make sure you get off at Greencastle Rd/ Memorial Park, not just Greencastle Rd), Aisling came and picked me up, saving me a 20 min walk. She showed me the house and encouraged me to come downstairs for a cup of tea and to chat when I was settled in. We shared many stories and delved into conversations about school, politics, and different current events. They are both very open minded people and it was interesting to talk to them and learn about the real Ireland. Their house is cosy and a nice place to relax after a long day of traveling or exploring Dublin. The house looks exactly as pictured, and everything was very clean. The next morning I was served a full Irish breakfast (absolutely delicious and very appreciated), which kept me full until dinner time! I recommend staying with Aisling and John for anyone who is looking for more than just a place to sleep. They offer you a safe, quiet, and inviting home. I will be back one day :) Thank you for everything!
