The house has a beautiful landscaped back garden that can be seen from the kitchen through the patio doors that lead into the garden. you are more than welcome to sit outside in it and enjoy the quiet and peaceful sounds. (the back garden is under reconstruction after the storms over the Christmas period)

The local bus is only around the corner and will bring you straight into all the beautiful sites that Dublin has to offer.

Myself and my husband John are very accommodating. We have welcomed and hosted students into our home of all nationalities and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We have 2 teenage daughters who speak fluent gaelic (native Irish language) and also have a great interest in German language. My husband is a landscape gardener and I am a mature student and part-time tutor who loves to cook and look after people :) We're a happy go lucky family.

If you are looking for a truly enjoyable warm Irish welcome, well allow us to be your hosts. We look forward to making your stay here as comfortable and an enjoyable experience. Can accommodate 1 or 2 persons. Price includes 1 person and breakfast is included. Smoking is allowed outside in the back garden. • I would warmly recommend to stay at Aisling's to everybody! The room is very clean and comfortable, warm at night and Aisling provides duvets and towels for the bathroom. The bathroom was really clean and with a shower available for the guests. Aisling and her husband John were wonderful! They let us feel at home and Aisling is always available for a chat and it is really nice to have someone to talk to, especially someone who can give you advice about the city! The house is in a really quiet neighborhood, 5 mins walk to the closest bus to city center and you will be left in front of Trinity College in 20 mins! And please, try Aisling's Irish breakfast, is absolutely heaven! Thank you very much for being so friendly! <3

  • Staying in Aisling's place was a great pleasure! Her family is very warm and welcoming, we literally felt like part of it. Great breakfast in the morning and cooking advice in the evening)
She is always ready to tell where to go, what to see and explained a lot about culture, history, geography, every question we had about Ireland.
The room and bathroom is very nice, clean and comfortable.
Best place to stay in Dublin on St Patrick's Day!

  • Aisling and her family were very welcoming and accommodating. I felt very safe and comfortable in their home esp. being alone for the first time in Dublin. I've also really enjoyed the family's company and I've learned so many things about the Irish history and culture. I would definitely recommend her place to everyone.

  • Aisling was a great host for my mom and me. She cooked a great Irish breakfast for us while talking to us the whole time. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean.
She gave us a key so we could come back later in the evening. The home is in a very residential area, but it was just a good 10 minute drive downtown.

  • It was my first experience with Airbnb and I was a little nervous but it was awesome. Aisling is such a lovely person. She is really helpful, kind and she makes the best breakfast in Ireland (and probably beyond). John is also very kind. They were both interested by who I was and where I came from so we had really nice conversations. I learned a lot about Ireland too. I recommend this home to everyone. It is close to the bus which is frequent enough and only take about 15 minutes to get to the city centre. Great great experience! Thanks again!

  • I learned a thing or two about the Irish culture and how wonderful it is through this family. It was extremely touching. Had a few curve balls that I can't go into details about but needless to say Aisling stepped up and went way above and beyond any expectation one could have to help me. This lady was a blessing to me and she literally made me feel like I was family. You won't regret your stay with this family one bit. They're lovely.
