Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Set on a 15 acre farm in the Potomac Highlands, featuring trails, farm views, and animals. Just 2 hours from DC, this accessible, yet peaceful setting provides options for relaxation and outdoor adventure. Located 10 minutes from Romney, WV, this spot is convenient to hiking, river activities, fishing, and skiing. Explore, or simply relax and enjoy life on the farm.

The space
You will be staying in a A-frame glamping tent! It has a queen sized bed and mattress along with throw pillows and a cozy blanket. On the other side of the tent is a rug and 2 large bean bag chairs for lounging. Feel free to bring additional sleeping bags or air mattress if you have more than 2 guests. There is a solar generator in the tent that allows you to plug in devices using a regular plug or USB.

Outside, we have a dining area that seats 4 on the tent platform, as well as a firepit with adirondak chairs for your enjoyment. Across the way, we have a "toilet shed" where you will have access to a camping toilet and bags to dispose of your waste. We also have water on the property that comes from a well, just a short walk way. The water is safe and drinkable. You will need to lift the water pump, and water will run from the hose. We also have for your convenience a dish washing station at the water hose.

You will be surrounded by beautiful meadows and the view of the woods. We mow a small yard around the campsite, as well as trails throughout the property for your enjoyment. We also have a tiny house on the property which is listed on Airbnb, however it is on the other side of the farm, and you will have plenty of privacy. Please enjoy the property and visit the animals and gardens.

*** Please Note: this is camping! Please come prepared for varying temperatures and bugs. There is no heat or A/c in this tent and you are also required to bring your own bedding for a queen size mattress. Come prepared! ***

You have access to our entire 15 acres. Please feel free to explore the trails, animals, and gardens. Our only request is that you do not enter the woods or cross the fence into the neighbors farm, as this is not our property. Thank you.

Other things to note
You will need to bring your own linens, towels, comforter, and bed pillows for a queen sized bed.

If you are planning to cook, you will need to bring a camping stove, dishes, and utensils as these are not provided.

Also, if you want to enjoy the fire pit, don't forget firewood!

There is no Wifi or TV on the property. This is your opportunity to disconnect! Enjoy the nature sounds and views!

Please note that we do not have a standard bathroom with running water. There is no sink, shower, or flushable toilet. What we do have is a camping toilet with compostable bags to use for your waste. Simply place a bag inside the toilet, sprinkle a teaspoon of gelling powder (provided) into the bag, and do your business! Please tie up bag and dispose in the trashcan outside of the shed after each use to keep things fresh and leak free. It will be an adventure!

You can access water for drinking and cleaning from our well. This is located at the barn along the dirt road.
