The Space

We rent a charming Parisian apartment in a prime location: the Louvre Museum and the Garden of Palais Royal are all within walking distance. There is an easy access from airports and train stations by public transport.

Lots of charm : authentic wooden beams on ceiling, rustic tiled kitchen, bathroom with shower and real bed in living room. This is the perfect place to enjoy a short term rental in Paris.

It is at the third floor with no lift but with calm neighbours.

The Neighborhood

The apartment is located in a quiet street (email hidden)ly and historic area (restaurants, museums, bars, shopping, nightclubs).

It is also very safe (probably the safest place in Paris due to the presence of a lot of luxury brands and banks)

All famous parisian monuments are accessible on foot or by bike (Velib'). Here are a few places within walking distance:

- Louvre Museum (2 minutes),

- Rue Montorgueil (2 minutes)

- Opera Garnier (10 minutes),

- Palais royal (2 seconds),

- Pont des Arts (5 minutes),

- Notre-Dame Cathedral (15 minutes),

- Rue Etienne Marcel (10 secondes),

- public transit (Metro station: Louvre-Rivoli, Palais Royal, and Châtelet - les Halles)

  • We spent a week in Helene and Romain's Paris studio and would highly recommend it. It's in a great location shops, cafe's and the metro just steps away. The Louvre and Notre Dame are within a pleasant 15-20 minute walk.

The space is small but clean and had everything we needed for the week we were there.

Helene and Romain were great hosts. They responded quickly to all of our inquiries and gave us plenty of information about the surrounding area. We'd definitely stay with them again the next time we're in Paris.

  • Our hosts were terrific. They responded promptly to all of our questions and were flexible to accommodate our schedule. The apartment is clean, well stocked, and the bed is very comfortable. The location allows for walking easily to most of the national museums and also is very close to the Chatelet-Les Halles transit hub for exploring further afield.

  • This apartment was in a great location; we were able to walk to attraction sites and take the train with ease. Helene and Romain were very accommodating with our arrival time and made it very simple. They did a great job communicating and addressing any questions/concerns that we had. They had plenty of tourist information at the apartment which made navigating the city much easier. There are some boulangeries (bakeries) nearby, as well as a BNP Paribas (Bank of America affiliate in France). The only drawback was the small shower, but that is easily overlooked by all the benefits of the apartment. Much thanks to Helene and Romain for making my first trip to Paris an amazing experience.

  • Romain met us during the check-in. He was about 10minutes late, but we were touched when we realised it was because he left out a few towels and rushed back to get them for us. He was extremely helpful and told us about some nice places to eat and get our groceries. He even offered to respond to our calls or emails if we needed more advice on where to visit.

The place is small and cosy, which was fine for the two of us. The shower cubicle was a tad tiny for my (big) husband. But overall it was okay (I think most hotels in the area are probably smaller?), and this was one of the Bnbs that had excellent shower pressure! The previous ones we have been to had weak water pressure and this one was a welcome treat..Hansgrohe brand is the way to go! =) We loved having the TV right in front of the bed!! There was great WIFI, a folder of maps and guidebooks provided, washer, small electric stove, cooking utensils (we only cooked eggs because we did not want to stink up the whole room with smells)...and a kettle and coffee machine.

We really appreciated the effort in making the apartment so nicely furnished and functional. The neighbours in this building were also quite friendly, with one offering to carry my suitcase up the stairs for me.

Thank you for your lovely place!

  • The cute apartment is a great place to stay
in Paris. Despite being a bit cramped, everything
you need for a comfortable visit is right there.
The hosts Helene & Romain are just a phone call
away if you need any help. The Wifi has excellent
reception, not sure about the TV, no time to watch anyway.
The Louvre is very close by & other attractions
also within walking distance. There are 2 local
Metro stations nearby which are very handy to get to other major tourist attractions. Shops, restaraunts and bank/ATM all close by.
Lovely place to spend a week in Paris

    Regards Tony & Kate

  • Helen and Romains’s apartment was perfect for our honeymoon. We spent two weeks in Paris and loved every minute of it.

The apartment is adorable. It’s decorated in great taste, very warm and cozy. It’s small, but it has enough space for a couple to be comfortable. All of the appliances (and the Internet) work well and having a kitchen and a washing machine proved to be very useful! We also enjoyed having a large window overlooking a nice street. If you stay at Helen and Romain’s, we recommend you get warm bread in the mornings from the boulangerie in the corner.

Their place is in a very beautiful and central part of the city. The neighborhood is great, lively and full of bistros and boutiques. There are many monuments at a walking distance and it’s also very close to Les Halles subway station, which has a lot of connections. Another good option for getting around are the Velib bicycles, which you can rent online and pick up a couple of blocks from the apartment.

Although we never got a chance to meet them, Helen and Romain were amazing hosts. We were able to check in early and check out whenever we wanted. They gave us very good tips (which we took) and they had city guides and a map ready for our arrival. They made sure we were Ok, answered all our messages promptly and were always very nice.

We definitely recommend it and are looking forward to going back there and (hopefully) meeting our hosts.

  • Cute-Yes. Small-Yes but this has to be one of the best locations in Paris. My wife and I stayed there for 12 days and could walk to almost every notable spot in Paris. It is no more than a five or six minute brisk walk to the Louvre and other places. Three or four blocks away is a street with numerous eateries and markets. Would we stay there again? Absolutely!!!

  • Nothing but great things to say about Helen and Romain's flat. It had everything we needed for our week long stay in Paris. Location was great - close to what we needed yet very quiet. We were literally right around the corner from a delicious bakery, bistro and some shops. Metro lines are a short walk away. The room itself is enough space for 2 people and their luggage. The mini fridge was handy and although we did not use the cooktop, it was nice to have the option, and the kitchen had all the utensils you would need, especially a corkscrew. The bathroom is small but serves it's purpose. Bed is a big comfortable double mattress. Thanks you Helen and Romain for letting us use your flat. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this flat to friends

  • Beautiful little studio really well situated to see everything Paris has to offer - we really only used it as a crash pad being out and about all day but there is a very friendly bistrot on the corner for coffees and a boulangerie down the road for daily bread & pastries. The bar around the corner is open late and perfect for a digestif on the way home.
Helene & Romain very kindly left us the key somewhere easy to collect as we arrived at nearly midnight on Friday - all in all 100% great experience as first time airbnb'ers and next time we go to Paris we shall definitely be staying there again!
